Overnight in Tsedang. | | | | DAY-03 : TSEDANG - GYANTSE | | | Today drive to Gyantse Via Yamdrok Lake. En-route visit the great Samye Monastery. It is a journey of 265 kms including crossing of 2 high passes Kamba-La (15724ft) and Karo-La (16432ft).Overnight at the hotel in Gyantse. | | | | DAY-04 : GYANTSE - SHIGATSE | | | Visit Phalkor Chode & Khumbu Stupa in Gyantse and drive to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. In Shigatse you will visit Tashilumpo Monastery and the market. Overnight in Shigatse. | | | | DAY-05 : SHIGATSE - LHASA | | | Today we drive to Lhasa from Shigatse. En route we cross Karo- La, which provides the spectacular view of the Gyantse valley. On the way, we also cross Kamba-La pass and Yamdeok Lake. In Lhasa transfer to the hotel & O/n stay. | | | | DAY-06-07 : LHASA | | You will be spending two full days in Lhasa visiting Potala Palace, Sera Monastery Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery, Barkhor Market and Norbulingka Summer Palace. Overnight in Lhasa.
