DAY- 01 : KATHMANDU - LHASA , approx. 3700 m Arrive Gonggar airport - Lhasa.On arrival meet, assist and transfer to Hotel in Lhasa ( 2 hours ). Rest of the day at leisure for acclimatisation. Overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.

DAY-02-03 : SIGHTSEEING IN LHASA You will spend two full days in Lhasa visiting Potala, Sera Monastery Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery, Barkhor Market and Norbulinka Summer Palace. Overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.

DAY-04 : LHASA - TSHURPU - LHASA Full day excursion trip to Tshurpu Monastery, the seat of Karmapa. The Monastery is situated 64kms from Lhasa at an altitude of 4480m from the sea level and almost 1000m above Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.

DAY-05 : LHASA - FINAL DEPARTURE Early morning we will drive you to Gonggar airport to board the departure flight to your onward destination (Kathmandu, Chengdu, Beijing etc)

DAY-02 : TSEDANG SIGHTSEEING Begin your day with sightseeing tour of Yambulakhang Monastery, Thandruk Monastery and Tombs of Tibetan Kings. Overnight at Hotel in Tsedang.

DAY-03 : TSEDANG - GYANTSE - approx. 3800 M Today you drive to Gyantse Via Yamdrok Lake. En-route we will also visit the great Samye Monastery. It is a journey of 265 kms including crossing of 2 high passes Kamba-La (15724ft) and Karo-La (16432ft).Overnight at Hotel in Gyantse.

DAY-04 : GYANTSE - SHIGATSE - 3900M Visit Phalkor Chode & Khumbu Stupa in Gyantse and drive 2 hours to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. In Shigatse you will visit Tashilumpo Monastery and the market. The monastery is the seat of Panchen Lama which was founded by the 1st Dalai Lama in 1447 AD. Overnight at Hotel in Shigatse.

DAY-05 : SHIGATSE - LHASA Today we drive to Lhasa from Shigatse. En route we cross Karo- La, which provides the spectacular view of the Gyantse valley. On the way, we also cross Kamba-La pass and Yamdeok Lake. In Lhasa transfer to Hotel and free. Overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.

DURATION: 7 NIGHTS / 8 DAYS (DRIVE IN- FLY OUT)

DAY-01 : KATHMANDU- ZHANGMU, 2300M This morning we will take a beautiful drive to Kodari (Nepal China Border - 5 Hours) with breakfast stop in Dhulikhel -a hillock about 30 km from Kathmandu. After completing the immigration formalities(Nepal side ) we drive up hill to Zhangmu (subject to road condition) where Chinese immigration is located. You stay in Zhangmu for overnight. Overnight at Hotel in Zhangmu).

DAY-02 : ZHANGMU - NEW TINGRI 4225M After breakfast at hotel we drive about 7 - 8 hours to New Tingri. The drive provides spectacular views of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Cho You, Shisapangama , Mt. Makalu etc (weather permitting). Overnight at Hotel in Tingri.

DAY-03 : NEW TINGRI -SHIGATSE-approx. 3900 M After breakfast at Hotel we drive to Shigatse crossing the highest passes of our trip, the Lhatse pass at 5220m. Time and road permitting we will also visit Sakya Monastery, which is 26 km off the main road in Shigatse province. Overnight at Hotel in Shigatse.

DAY-04 : SHIGATSE - GYANTSE - approx. 3800 M After breakfast you will visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the market and drive 2 hours to Gyantse. Tashilunpo monastery, founded by the 1st Dalai Lama in 1447 AD, is the seat of Panchen Lama. In Gyantse visit Phalkor Chode & Kumbum Stupa. Overnight at Hotel in Gyantse.

DAY-05 : GYANTSE - LHASA approx. 3700 M Today we drive to Lhasa. It is a journey of about 265 km. with a spectacular view of Gyantse valley and Yamdrok Lake. Enroute we cross 2 high passes, Karo-La (16432ft) and Kamba-La (15724). In Lhasa, transfer to hotel for overnight Overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.

DURATION: 9 NIGHTS / 10 DAYS (FLY IN - DRIVE OUT)

DAY-09 : NEW TINGRI - RONGBUK - 4800M Breakfast at hotel and drive to Rongbuk monastery. The road passes couple of Tibetan villages like Chay and Phadurchi and crosses Pang la pass at 4980m. in Rongbuk.Visit Rongbuk monastery and its surrounding. Overnight at camp or Monastery.
