Location

Air: Deccan Air, Indian Airlines and Jet Airways operate flights to Mangalore, which is the nearest airport. Airport is 55 km away from Malpe and you can take a taxi to reach the Resort.
Bus: Various private luxury buses operate from Bangalore and Mumbai to Udupi. The Resort is 5 kms away from Udupi and 6 ½ hrs drive or 350 kms from Bangalore.
Train: There is direct service from Mumbai and Goa.

The Paradise Isle, Udupi Karnataka Usually the climatic conditions of Malpe are temperate, except during the monsoon, which lasts from June to September. There are no extremes in temperature and no clear demarcations from one season to the other except for the monsoon. The average temperature varies between 25°C - 35°C. The average daily hours of sunshine are nine to ten hours in summer and three to five hours during the monsoon. The climate is pretty similar to the one you would find in Goa.

For four to five months from October through February the climate is near perfect-cloudless blue skies, warm but not oppressively hot days, and calm seas. By mid-March the humidity starts to rise as the monsoon begins to approach again.
