We had a wonderful trip in Kashmir.  It is just amazing and beautiful.  Lovely people, scenic view, nice weather …  In fact, it is just like a heaven on earth.

Everything went well according to the plan i.e. houseboat stay, hotel stay, Sightseeing etc.

The trip was fantastic. We were either upgraded or given an extra something at most places.

I’ll go ahead with our feedback for all the places we stayed at.

Tribe:

The good thing about this place was that it was small and cozy and was situated near a super market so that helped us stock up on things we had either forgotten or had left for a later date. The camera is a good example.

Loisaba:

We were upgraded to the cottage here. The service was excellent especially newton (the butler) and moses (the guide at star beds). Anything i say about star beds at night will only undermine the beauty of the place.

Governors Camp:

Beautiful. Just the kind of place that we like. comfortable tents and beds and other luxuries camouflaged as basic amenities. The service here is simply awesome, starting from the driver who always showed up on time to the butler and everyone else. The surrounding wilderness only added to the charm as we got to see many of the celebrated mara lions which we had previously seen on TV. The background to the story of the prides and the battle for supremacy between the lions unfolded like a drama here especially since we had seen them previously on Discovery and Natgeo.

Exploreans Mara Rianta:

By far the best guide we had seen. He was a walking encyclopedia. The camp itself was luxurious to the point where it stopped feeling like a tented camp in a jungle. But the guide made up for it with the kind of insight he gave regarding the lions, hippos, etc etc etc.

All in all, a fantastic trip. We left nairobi desperately wanting to stay back. A great honeymoon and thanks for starbeds once again.
