The resort is open all year round. In winter, one can enjoy the cosy log fire in the restaurant, while outside the snow is piled deep. In spring, the gardens are full of apple blossoms, and the air is scented with thyme and sage. During the monsoons in July and August, the hills are shrouded in clouds, lush and saturated by the cleansing rain. And from July to September, the area lives up to its name as 'the fruit basket of Kumaon', with apples, apricots, plums and pears in abundance. Autumn is glorious, with crisp frosty nights and golden days - Mountain Trail is truly a place for all seasons.

River Rafting and other adventure activities also can be arranged for adventure enthusiasts.

By Road - Delhi - hapur By-Pass - Moradabad By - Pass - Rampur - Bilaspur - Rudraur (take tanda Road) - Haldwani - Kathgodam (270 kms. aprox).

Kathgodam - Dogaon - Jeolikot - Bhowali - Ramgarh - Satbunga - Bhatelia - Mountain Trail ( 66 kms. approx.)

Kathgodam - Ranibagh (turn right before HMT) - Bhimtal (ask for Padampuri - Dhari - Dhanachuli Bend (ask for Mukteshwar) - Bhatelia - Mountain Trail (60 Kms. Approx).
