Travelmasti.com Launches Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Packages 2010
New Delhi

Feb 5th, 2010
Mount Kailash and Mansarovar are amongst the most revered and the hardest pilgrimages. Lake Mansarovar was believed to have been created by Lord Brahma and a single dip washes away the sins of a lifetime. Therefore, Travelmasti brings this uniquely designed itinerary that tours the four faced Mt. Kailash standing 22027 feet tall. Deep clefts on either side isolate the mountain from the rest of the range making a "Parikrama" possible.

TheYatra packages are ex-Kathmandu and are available in two variants - 16 days and 11 days. The Yatra route goes through Kathmandu - Zhangmu (Tibet border) - Nyalam - Saga - Paryang - Darchen - Tarboche - Diraphuk - Dolmala Pass - Mansarovar & Mt. Kailash Parikrama. Due to erratic weather climate, all participants are required to provide health certificate confirming that the participant is fit to travel in altitudes of 5700 metres. It is recommended that a daily exercise regimen is adopted prior to the yatra. A portion of the yatra happens at altitudes of over 17000 feet and acclimatization for this high altitude is necessary.

The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra departures start from 29th April' 09. The packages start from INR 71,000 and include all airport transfers, sightseeing in Kathmandu with English - speaking guide, Twin - sharing accommodation at 4 Star Deluxe Hotel in Kathmandu on AP Basis, full board camping tour, all surface transportation in Tibet by 4 WD Land Cruiser (4 Pax per Land Cruiser), Tibetan Guide from China Tibet Tourism Board (CTTB), Yak and Yak handler during the trek around Kailash (Kora), all camping equipment such as sleeping / dining / kitchen / toilet tents, sleeping mattresses, sleeping bags, service of experienced Sherpas, assistants, all meals (prepared by Indian cook), Tibet Entry permission, travel permit of Kailash Mansarovar and entrance fees, Tibet visa, first aid kits, all applicable taxes and service charges.

Commenting on the occasion Travelmasti.com COO, Mr. Manan Aggarwal said "This is our first package launch for the Pilgrimage season 2009. Lake Mansarovar & Mt. Kailash are highly revered in Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religions. This is not just another travel product, rather we view this as an
opportunity to offer our services to the Yatris interested in Kailash and Mansarovar Darshan".
