Located
in the north of Goa, the RGBC at Monterio is an exclusive Private
Member's Club, nestling beside the river Arpora and set on the slopes
of an undulating hillside. The picturesque Baga beach, is a mere 10
minutes walk and guests can enjoy the promenade walk to the beach
along the riverside or use the resort's river ferry to the beach.
The resort
consists of a range of Studio, One and Two bedroom Apartments. Facilities
include two swimming pools, the air-conditioned "Tamarind Tree" Restaurant
and bars,
24 hour reception, evening entertainment, gymnasium games room and
outside dining area. Excursions and activities include river cruises,
beach water sports, trips to the cashew nut factory and many temples
and Portugese inspired churches, local markets and the North and South's
beautiful beaches.
As the
resort is on a hillside it is not recommended for handicapped guests.
