Day1
Arrive Delhi. The morning is of leisure. In the afternoon visit the Parliament House, the Secretariat, the Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate, Lakshmi Narain Temple, Jantar Mantar, (astronomical observatory) Connaught Place, the
Qutab Minar and
Humanyun's Tomb. Overnight in Delhi.

Day2

Visit Old Delhi in the morning. See the Red fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana and Chandni Chowk - the bustling shopping area. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Delhi.

Day3
Early morning flight to Port Blair. Check into the hotel. Rest of the day enjoy the beach. Overnight in Port Blair.

Day4
Morning visit the Cellular Jail, the Bastille of India now a national memorial, the Chaitham Saw Mill where rare species of timber can be seen, Marine Museum with 350 species of sea-life can Corbyn's Cove, a picturesque beach.  Afternoon visit Madhu Ban (14 kms) where elephants are trained. Visit the Wandoor Beach (28 kms) that offers a picturesque landscape and is ideal for swimming and the Chiriya Tapu (30 kms) also known as Bird Island. Overnight in Port Blair.

Day5
Cruise around the harbor, Visit Ross Island, administrative headquarters during the Raja days. Grub, Red skin, Jolly Buay, Boat, Snob and Clique are picturesque islands offering exotic coral and marine life. Ideal for snorkeling, diving and under water photography. Overnight in Port Blair.

Day6
Leave for Madras by Morning Flight. Check into the hotel. After Lunch visit the St. George Fort Museum, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral, Kapaleshwara Temple, Snake Park, Valluvar Kottam and Mylapore Temple. Overnight in Madras.

Day7
Day trip to Mahabalipuram. Enjoy the beach. Visit the seven pagodas. On the seashore is an interesting group of ancient rockhewn temples which are examples of Dravidian style architecture. Overnight in Madras.

Day8
Arrive Trichy by morning flight. Check into the hotel. Visit Rock Fort, Jambukeshwara Temple (9 kms), Srirangam Island. Overnight in Trichy.

Day9
Drive to Thanjavur for a day. Visit Brihadeeshwara Temple, (10th century), an engineering marvel. It has excellent sculptures and the traces of paintings. See the 16th century palace built by the Nayaks and partly by the Marathas, Raja Raja Museum, with the best collection of bronze figures and Schwartz Church built in 18th century by Raja Serfaji, as a token of affection for his teacher, the Danish missionary, Rev. Schwartz. Overnight in Trichy.

Day 10
Morning drive to Madurai. Check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit the Shree Meenakshi temple, an excellent example of Dravidian architecture., Temple Museum, the 1000-pillared hall now houses a large collection of icons and Tirumalai Nayak Palace, built in the 17th century in the Indo-Saracenic Style. Alagar Koil (21 kms) is a famous Vishnu Temple. Overnight in Madurai.

Day 11
Day trip to Rameshwaram (152 kms). A famous pilgrim town renowned for its 1220 meters long corridors of carved pillars. See Adams bridge. Overnight in Madurai.

Day 12
Early morning leave for
Periyar (145 kms) by road. Check into the hotel. Visit the wildlife sanctuary. Overnight in Periyar.

Day 13
Morning drive on to Cochin (190 kms) to connect the flight to Mumbai. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 14
Arrive Mumbai. Check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 15
Morning visit the famous 1200 year old
Elephanta Caves, dedicated to lord Shiva. The famous sculpture signifying the frinity of  the Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer is located here. Return to the hotel for lunch.  Afternoon visit the Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens, offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach, Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India and drive through the Crawford Market, Marine drive and Flora Fountain.

Transfer to the airport for your outbound flight.
