Itinerary 3- Cochin - Kumarakom- Thekkady - Madurai - (6 Nights /7 Days Package)
| Day 1 : Arrival at Cochin |
 Arrive at Cochin airport /railway station and transfer to the hotel, Cochin. In the evening enjoy a sunset cruise or a Kathakali show. Dinner at the restaurant.
Kochi (Cochin): An all time tourist favourite, Kochi is the commercial capital of Kerala. It has to offer palaces, forts, beaches, backwaters, old churches, snake boat races, Kathakali, museums and the convinence of the big city.
Kochi is just about the center of Kerala. It is basically a collection of islands and narrow peninsulas. Ernakulam is the commercial centre and forms the main land. It has a fine natural harbour around which the city has grown. Kochi is the famous port, trading between India and the rest of the world. Attracted by trade and its liberal laws, many foreigners have made this their home. |
| Day 2 : Transfer to Kumarakom |
| After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a sightseeing tour of the city - Fort Cochin, spice markets, antique shopping, synagogue and chinese fishing nets. Return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, depart for hotel, Kumarakom. Afternoon free for leisure. Take time off to relax, swim, fish, boating or use the Ayurveda centre (at an additional cost). Dinner at the hotel. |
| Day 3 : Kumarakom |
 Early morning visit to the near by bird sanctuary for bird watching. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon free for leisure. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Kumarakom: An unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Situated on the Vembanad Lake, in this small water world you'll come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes which will take you into the heart of the scenic lake. | Day 4 : Transfer to Thekkady |
|
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a backwater cruise. Return to the hotel for lunch. After Lunch, depart for hotel, Thekkady. Enjoy a bonfire dinner (weather permitting).
Periyar: One of the largest wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is more popluar as a tiger reserve. A boat ride on the splendid Periyar lake is the best way to experience the sanctuary.The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the few places where the chances are pretty high that you will spot an elephant in the wild at close quarters and from the safe confines of a boat. Not just elephant and tiger, but if it’s your lucky day, gaur, masher, otter and other wildlife. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at Hotel.

| Day 5 : Enjoy Thekkady |
Early morning go for a jungle trek. Return to the hotel for breakfast and take time off to relax. Followed by a plantation tour. After lunch at the hotel, enjoy a boat safari in the beautiful Periyar Lake. Enjoy a bonfire dinner (weather permitting). |
| Day 6 : Transfer to Madurai |
 After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Madurai. Check in at the hotel Madurai, in time for lunch. After lunch, visit the famous Meenakshi temple and take time off to shop. Evening at leisure. Take time off to relax, use the pool and explore the various amenities at the hotel. Followed by dinner at the hotel.
Madurai: Madurai, the cultural capital and second largest city of Tamil Nadu is one of the oldest cities of southern India. Madurai has been a centre of learning and pilgrimage, for centuries. It is believed that, the divine nectar falling from Lord Shiva's locks, gave the city its name - Madhurapuri, now known as Madurai. Known as the temple city, Madurai is situated on the banks of the River Vaigai. Madurai is also an important pilgrimage center. The 985 beautiful pillared Meenakshi Amman Temple is the major attraction of Madurai.
