KOCHI-MUNNAR-THEKKADY- KUMARAKOM - KOCHI

Day 1 : Pick from Cochin

Pick from Cochin Airport/Rlystn Transfer to Bolgatty palace, halt.

Day 2 : Scenic tour of Munnar

Transfer to Munnar. Sightseeing and halt Tea County. Enjoy the visit to Munnar tea plantations , take a scenic tour to Top station or Rajamali. Overnight stay at the hotel. Munnar: Munnar - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft in Idukki district, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains- exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests - aroma of spice scented cool air - yes! Munnar has all these and more. Munnar also beacons the adventure-seekers, who is interested in paragliding. National Adventure Foundation in Munnar conducts courses for paragliding. It has some of the highest tea estates in the world.

Day 3 : Depart to Thekkady

Transfers to Thekkady & check in to wild life resort Aranyanivas. Afternoon we explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary which spreads over 777 sq km, roughly half of which is dense evergreen forest, savannah grassland and moist deciduous forest. Overnight stay at hotel Periyar: One of the largest wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is more popluar as a tiger reserve. A boat ride on the splendid Periyar lake is the best way to experience the sanctuary.The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the few places where the chances are pretty high that you will spot an elephant in the wild at close quarters and from the safe confines of a boat. Not just elephant and tiger, but if it’s your lucky day, gaur, masher, otter and other wildlife. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 : Sight seeing

Sight seeing and Halt at Thekkady

Day 5 : Transfer to Kumarakom

Transfer to Kumarakom. Sightseeing and halt at Waterscapes. Kumarakom: An unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Situated on the Vembanad Lake, in this small water world you'll come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes which will take you into the heart of the scenic lake. The resorts nearby offer comfortable accomodation and exclusive leisure options like an Ayurvedic massage, yoga, meditation, boating, fishing, angling and swimming.

Day 6 : Transfer to Kovalam

Transfer to Kovalam, halt at Samudra.

Day 7 : Sightseeing

City Sight seeing. Halt at Samudra. Kovalam: Over the past three decades, the place has been well developed, and now figures prominently on the world tourism map. Kovalam is just 16 kms away from Trivandrum.Today Kovalam beach is known as the "Paradise of the South".

Day 8 : Departure transfer to Trivandrum

Departure transfer to Trivandrum Airport / Rlystn.
