Nainital is a small town in the hills of Kumaon, a lovely hill station surrounded by mountains and lakes.In its vicinity lies beautiful spots like Bhimtal, Naukuchiyatal, Sattal etc. where you will find yourself surrounded by nature all around you .To chill your nerves you can spend a night with wild creatures at Corbett national park and if even this doesn't seems to be enough for you, this place offers you loads of adventures like Paragliding, Mountaineering, Trekking, River Rafting and Skiing. Direction :

The Resort is 13 km away from the Mall. Gethia is about 5 kms away from Jeolikote on the Haldwani-Bhowali Road.Its just before very well known Pilot Baba's ashram at Talla Gethia, Nainital.

Climate :

The climate is always pleasant and the temperature varies from 15c-30c in Summers and from 2c-18c during winters.

Accommodation

The original hall was built over a hundred years ago which has been renovated & furnished in solid,comfortable style of the latter years.

The accomodation consists of four bedrooms with attached bathroom, dining room, bar and a study area. In addition there is a two bedroom unit which has its own kitchenette and dining area.

Sight-Viewing Places

1. Naina Peak : The most popular picnic spot in Kumaon, it gives a panaromic view of Nainital and the sparkling snow laden Himalayas.Also gives you a trek through nature.

2. Naini Lake: The Emerald green coloured lake drapped with flora and fauna won't let you blink your eyes.You can have a rowboat ride (for Rs.80) or hire a small yatch for Rs.60 an hour from the boat club.Also check Dorothy's seat,Land's end,Nainital Zoo, Shops along the lake.

3. Raj Bhawan : Laid on April 27, 1897 the building was completed in March 1900. The architecture of Raj Bhawan has been professionally described as of “the early domestic Gothic style”. The house stands upon a plateau, and the combined effect of its environs, the vividly green lawn, grey stone steps and well grown old deodar trees is dignified, peaceful and strongly reminiscent of the English countryside.

4. Snow View Trek : The Snow view point is located at a height of 2270 meter above sea level. From here you can get an exotic view of snow covered Himalayan Ranges.It can be reached by the ropeway or the ponies available at Mallital.

Adventures

Angling : Fishing is a very good option if you have that patience.There are plenty of boatmen which will take you around for a moderate price.Fishing permission can be obtained from forest department,Sattal for just Rs. 25 per day.The lakes are full of carp,mahseer and rohu.There are certain camps which also provide with all the equipments to lower your hassle.

Skiing :For the ones who love to conquer the speed barriers with ice beneath them this is a very good option. So hold on to your boards and get geared up for the chill thrill.

Paragliding : Just swoop into the skies and live your fantasy .All you have to do is just explore the heights and leave the rest in hands of expert.

Water Rafting :If you love to go for a wild adventure take a down course with the green rivers and experience the most unforgettable adventure of your life.

Trekking :Walk through the nature enjoying chirping of birds, rustling of leaves to absorb the beauty of the place.A varied terrain that takes you from lush verdant forests to high altitudes pastures surrounded by the most amazing views of the Himalayan peaks.
