Jaipur Inn
B-17, Shiv Marg, Bani Park, Jaipur - 302016, INDIA

Overview

Hotel Jaipur Inn - JaipurQuite unlike most hotels in India , Jaipur Inn started as a camp site in the 1970s. Originally, it catered to travellers who had low budgets but high spirits and were travel enthusiasts in search of a place that would provide comfortable accommodation without intruding into their personal space.

Although a full fledged hotel now, its essence remains the same with self service as the greatest attempt at offering guests the freedom and privacy that they are looking for. And yet, the services and facilities offered at the hotel are at par with other budget properties. Standing tall at 5 storeys high, Jaipur Inn offers a range of facilities and services that are suited to business travellers as well as tourists.

Another predominant theme at Jaipur Inn is that of natural light. A lot of effort has gone towards ensuring that the hotel has inlets at regular intervals through which natural light can seep in. On each floor, certain sections have been tiled with translucent glass sheets that ensure that the light coming in through the inlet on the floor above gets passed down to the lower one.

Location

Located in Bani Park , Jaipur Inn lies close to the heart of the city. It enjoys proximity to all areas of tourist and commercial interest. The railway station and bus stand lie within a kilometre of the hotel while the airport is at a distance of 16 kilometre

Rooms

The hotel offers comfortable accommodation in 25 Deluxe rooms that are equipped with all modern amenities including an air conditioner, television, telephone, study table, luggage rack, cupboard and full length mirror. While the rooms have an intercom, STD/ISD facility is available at the reception. Washroom amenities include soap, shampoo, linen, exhaust fan and a geyser. 15 rooms open on to common sit-out areas where guests can lounge and enjoy a quiet moment of solitude.

Dining

Dining facilities include Cafe Jai, a cafeteria on the ground floor and a rooftop dining space. While Cafe Jai is more of a self service counter where guests can take their pick from amongst the stock of snacks and eatables, dining on the rooftop is a delightful experience where guests can sit back and relax while enjoying the view of the surrounding area. While during winters one can enjoy all meals on the rooftop, dinner is the only meal served here during summers. The rooftop cafe offers a view of the residential area around besides a splendid view of the Nahargarh Fort, which is lit up in the evenings and visible in the distance.

The delectable food at Cafe Jai is complimented by its decor. Done up in cool shades of blue, the walls of the cafe are lined with pieces of blue pottery tiles while the furniture comprises cushioned wrought iron chairs and tables.

For the convenience of guests, a huge common refrigerator has been placed in the cafe. It is always stocked with filtered water which is offered complimentary and can be used by guests to keep their personal food items as well.

Services & Facilities

On the ground floor, adjacent to the cafe is a small yet substantial library that has quite a collection of books on subjects from various genres. Guests are more than welcome to borrow books and can also avail the 'exchange a book offer' on request. Numerous tables and chairs are laid out in the front courtyard where guests can enjoy a light snack while reading books under the shade of a tree.

Internet access is offered at a charge of Rs. 40 per hour. Other facilities available at the hotel include travel assistance, car rental service, masseur on call, doctor on call and spacious parking.
