1. This program is open to all Malaysian which have family and staying in a fixed residence.

3. Host family:-

• Free from contagious disease such as tuberculosis, leprosy, AIDS, syphilis and etc.
• Free from any court action which involved crimes such as robbery, stealing and etc.
• Location of Residence.
  a. Location must be in a suitable area from the aspect of transportation.
  b. Free from pollution.
  c. Have a suitable surrounding especially if it can show Malaysian way of life.

5. Basic Necessities :

• The residence must have ample space and the tourist must be placed in separate rooms.
• To ensure that the tourist and the host family are comfortable, the maximum number of rooms allowed to be rented to tourist are three, with suitable size.
• Attention must be paid to the comfort of the tourist, such as preparation of shower room, toilet, dining hall and other basic needs.
• Preparation and supplying of food/drink, towel, mosquito repellent, mosquito net and sarong are based on the request of the tourist and it will be charged to the tourist.
• Good maintenance on all basic necessities must be maid to ensure a clean surrounding and tourist comfort.

6. Cleanliness :

• The area surrounding the residence must be free from garbage/trash which can be breeding ground for mosquito and flies.
• A good sewerage system is a must; this is to avoid uncomfortable smell.

7. To safeguard all involved parties especially the tourist, insurance coverage is a must. this is to make sure that all parties will have coverage in case of accident, below are the needed things to do:-

• Group tourist who are handled by a tour agency, the insurance coverage are to be taken by the tour agency.
• For individual tourist (FIT), the owner of the residence is advised to take the insurance from any registerd insurance company.
• Besides that, other safety precaution such as fire alarm or fire extinguisher must taken care by the residence owner.
