From the rural tranquility of the British countryside to the exciting vibrancy of London, there is so much more to Britain than most people realise. The BritRail Pass gives you access to Britain's extensive rail network, which includes the entire region of England, Scotland and Wales. You have the freedom to go where you please, when you please. What's more, you can even purchase, sector tickets and make your reservations.

 

BritRail Consecutive Pass

Allows unlimited travel everday for a period of 4, 8, 15, 22 or 30 days and is available for 1st class and standard class travel. There are special rates available for senior citizens (over 60 years) and youth (under 26 years).

Children

One child travels free with each adult/senior passholder. Other children (from 5 to under 16 years) pay 50% of the adult fare and those under 5 years travel free.

Youth

Youth who purchase either a Eurail Youth Pass or Europass Youth are entitled to a 50% reduction on their Youth BritRail Pass.

Discounts on BritRail

  • With the BritRail Party Pass, the third or fourth person in a group travelling together at all times gets a 50% discount.
  • All BritRail passholders are entitled to discounts on the Eurostar. Prebooking is compulsory.

 

General Terms & Conditions

  • The BritRail Pass is personal and non-transferable.
  • It must be validated at the station where you board your first train.
  • The pass must be validated within six month of issue.
  • It does not cover seat or sleeper accommodation.
  • Seat reservations, though not compulsory, are recommended at busy times of the year i.e. summer and around public holidays. Reservations for overnight journey is mandatory.
  • Lost or stolen BritRail Passes can be replaced at many mainline stations on production of a police declaration . A UK£15 administration fee will be payable.
  • Refunds will be granted on unvalidated passes if returned to the issuing office within six month . A minimum cancellation fee of 15% will be imposed on unused passes. Refunds are payable in Rupees only.
  • No refund will be given on validated unused passes.
  • All BritRail Passes and sector fares are payable in Indian Rupees.
  • Remittance charge of RS. 1 per US$ is payable on purchase of all passes and tickets.
