| DAY-01: KATHMANDU
LHASA -TSEDANG 3450 m Arrive Gonggar airport - Lhasa.On arrival meet, assist and transfer to Hotel in TSEDANG ( 2 hours ). Rest of the day at leisure for acclimatisation. Overnight at Hotel in Tsedang.
DAY-02 : TSEDANG SIGHTSEEING
Begin your day with sightseeing tour of Yambulakhang Monastery, Thandruk Monastery and Tombs of Tibetan Kings. Overnight at Hotel in Tsedang.
DAY-03 : TSEDANG - SAMYE - LHASA -
approx. 3700 M After breakfast at Hotel we will drive you 4 hours to Lhasa.
En-route we will also visit the great Samye monastery which is 1hour off the
main road. In Lhasa transfer to hotel and free in the afternoon. Overnight at
Hotel in Lhasa.
DAY-04 & 05 : SIGHTSEEING TOURS IN LHASA
You will be spending two full days in Lhasa visiting Potala Palace. Sera monastery Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery, Barkhor Market and Norbulinka Summer Palace. Overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.
DAY-06 : LHASA - GYANTSE
approx. 3800 M After breakfast at hotel we will drive you to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake. It is a journey of 265 kms and takes 6-7 hr. We cross 2 hours passes Kamba-La (15724ft) and Karo-La(16-432ft) with a spectacular views of Gyantse valley. Overnight at Hotel in Gyantse.
DAY-07 : GYANTSE - SHIGATSE 3900M
Morning sightseeing of Phalkor Chode & Khumbum Stupa in Gyantse and drive 2 hours to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. In Shigatse visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the market. The monastery founded by the 1st Dalai Lama in 1447 AD is the seat of Panchen Lama. Overnight at Hotel in Shigatse.

DAY-08 : SHIGATSE - NEW TINGRI - 4225M
After breakfast at hotel drive 265 kms (7-8 hours) to New Tingri crossing the Lhatse Pass at 5220m. En-route (time road permitting) we will also visit Sakya Monastery which is 26 kms off the main road. Overnight at Hotel in Tingri
DAY-09 : NEW TINGRI - RONGBUK - 4800M
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Rongbuk monastery. The road passes couple of Tibetan villages like Chay and Phadurchi and crosses Pang la pass at 4980m. in Rongbuk.Visit Rongbuk monastery and its surrounding. Overnight at camp or Monastery.
DAY-10 : RONGBUK - EVEREST BC- TINGRI.
Breakfast at local lodge and drive 40 minute (112km) or walk 2-3 hours to the Everest Base camp (5150m). After visiting the base camp and glaciers we will drive you 4 hours back to Tingri. Overnight at Hotel in Tingri.
DAY-11 : NEW TINGRI - NYALAM / ZHANGMU: 2700M
After breakfast at hotel, drive 6 hours to Nyalam and to Zhangmu. It is an interesting journey of 264 kms with a spectacular view of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Cho Yu, Sishapangma etc. Overnight at Hotel in Zhangmu.
DAY-12 : ZHANGMU - KODARI- KATHMANDU: 1350M
1350M Breakfast at hotel and complete immigration and custom formalities. Drive or walk down hill to Kodari and meet the Nepalese guide at the Nepal immigration office. After completing the immigration formalities we will drive you 5 hours to Kathmandu
