Eagle's Nest is an ideal spot for centre-based trekking, walking and visitig local sights, or as a base from which to attend the many local ashrams, yoga/meditation classes, or as a retreat.

From Mcleodganj main square, we arrange a jeep taxi to Gallu temple upper Dharamkot, the nearest point to Eagle's Nest. From there we arrange porters and guide to accompany you to Eagle's Nest. This is a 1 km walk.
Horses are also available to ride to Eagle's Nest.

Rooms
Tibet Suite Decorated by local traditionally trained Tibetan artists from the Nurbulingka Institute, the suite comprises a large double / twin bedroom, annexe bedroom and beautiful green marble bathroom. Doors open onto the front verandah. An ideal family room.
Mughal Suite Features hand painted mughal style furniture, a large double/twin room and a separate double bedroom decorated with romantic ceiling and wall hangings. There is a pink marble bathroom. There is a private enclosed glass conservatory/verandah, which opens onto the back terrace. An ideal family room.
Craven Cottage Richly decorated in warm reds and copper tones with full length silk curtains, there is a large double/twin bedroom – and a very special ‘Raj Bathroom’. This huge pink marble room features a large shower and a big bath, which has a picture window looking out onto the mountains (with one-way glass!). Guests may enjoy a relaxing candle-lit bath strewn with rhododendron petals, or with essential oils.
Hallet Room Named after the renowned local British Royal Academy artist, Alfred Hallet, who lived in a nearby cottage and is famous for his work depicting the local landscape and people. The room is hung with several of Hallet’s oil paintings and features a 4-Poster double bed. There is a magnificent view of the mountains from a large picture window and an en suite bathroom in pastel coloured marble.
Blue Room As the name suggests, this is decorated in deep royal blue; carpet and silk curtains, making it a luxurious room as well as light, as it is on the first floor with its big windows overlooking the front garden – getting the full morning sun. There is a large marble bathroom en suite.
Green Room With an immediately serene feel to it, this is a spacious corner room situated on the first floor with wonderful views of the mountains. Muted creams and greens and Tibetan art, make this a restful, peaceful place, with doors onto the verandah and a large pink granite bathroom to complete its comfort. A double/twin room, it can accommodate extra beds if needed.
Deodar Room The large windows look out to the left on the forest of Deodars – Himalayan cedars – and Rhododendrons, and in front to the mountains. Decorated with Tibetan art and soft colours, the large double/twin bedroom can accommodate extra beds if needed. It has a big en suite pink granite bathroom and doors onto the verandah.
Yoga Room Between the Green Room and the Deodar Room is a wall of folding doors, making one very large and spacious wood-floored room useful for Yoga groups and others. With dimensions of approx. 50 ft x 12 ft, it can accommodate large groups, for use as a conference room, dormitory or exhibition space.
