'Fort JADHAVGADH' (Built in 1710 by Pillaji Jadhavrao) is the first in a series of Heritage forts scheduled in Maharashtra and the Rest of India. Situated in the beautiful rolling hills located 22 km away from Pune on the old Pune – Satara Road at a height of 2511 ft above sea level Fort Jadhavgadh lies in the heart of the Jadhavwadi – a 25 acre land. The Fort a fine example of Maratha craftsmanship was built by Pillaji Jadhavrao. A man who himself was as strong in mind and body as the stone structure he envisioned to create. The man named Pilaji Jadhavrao - Maratha General in the army of Chatrapati Shahuji, proved his mettle each and every time someone dared to challenge the supremacy of the Maratha ruler.

Rooms
In order to bring no harm to the 300 year old structure the 'Kholi' or Rooms of the hotel have been laid out in such a way that they seem to fit in naturally on the side walls of the fortress. You can even find in places, the original prehistoric stoned wall as a part of the modern room.
The interiors too are a quintessential balance between the old world charm and the new world luxuries. And what is now naturally accepted of all Kamat hotels, the rooms are all environmental sensitive.

Premier Rooms with Hill view Balcony - 06 Nos. Situated on the top level of the main fort, the rooms have a balcony over looking the Lawns on one side & give you a view of the happenings within the fort as well as the vast open spaces that ensue.
Premier Rooms with Rain shower - 06 Nos. Located on the lower level of the main fort, these spacious rooms have uniquely designed bathrooms that let you gaze up at the stars & feel the cool hill station breeze, all while having a relaxing shower.
Suite Rooms – 04 Nos. 4 unique suite rooms in the corners of the Fort, Pan the vast open fields and hills that surround the Fort. These rooms were used by the descendants of Pilaji Jadhav till the late 20th century.
Tent – 12 Nos. Fort JadhavGadh, invites you to explore the wild side of nature. Each Tent has a sitting area very tastefully designed, a bedroom and glassed division Toilet with all modern amenities to ensure the most memorable experience. Each Tent has a kitchen garden of a popular Vegetable or Herb that is often used in royal cooking.
