Day
1
You
arrive at Bhopal by the superfast Shatabdi Express and proceed
to Pachmarhi arriving there in time for dinner. You stay for four
nights at Panchvati Huts (budget) or at Rock-End Manor (luxury).
Day
2 - 4
Pachmarhi is a nature lover's delight and a trekker's paradise.
Each dawn at this virgin, saucer-shaped hill resort ushers in
a day of tranquil beauty. The valley, ravines and maze of gorges,
offer quiet escapes into nature in all its glory, and everywhere
cascading waterfalls flash silver in the sunshine. Deep azure
pools are hidden delights which beckon swimmers and paddlers alike
and wildlife watchers will be rewarded by fascinating glimpses
of the animal and bird kingdom.
Complementing the magnificence of nature are the works of Man.
In cave shelters in the Mahadeo hills is an astonishing richness
in rock paintings. Most of these have been placed in the period
500-800 AD, but the earliest paintings are an estimated 10,000
years old.
You will visit Priyadarshini Point, from where Pachmarhi was discovered
by Captain J.Forsyth in 1857; Handi Khoh, Pachmarhi's most impressive
ravine; Mahadeo, regarded as holy for countless generations; Jata
Shankar, a sacred cave; Dhoopgarh, the highest point in the Satpura
ranges; Pandav Caves, which according to the legend provided sanctuary
to the five Pandav brothers, and a host of breathtakingly beautiful
waterfalls.

5
After
breakfast, you leave for Bhopal reaching there in time for a quick
lunch at Hotel Palash before you depart for Delhi by the Shatabdi
Express with fond memories of the 'Satpura Queen'.
General
Terms and Conditions
- The
corporation reserves the right to cancel the tour or alter the
routes, mode of transport, type of accommodation etc. in circumstances
beyond its control.
- Tourists
travel at their own risk. The corporation does not accept any
liability or responsibility for any delay, damage, loss, etc,
either due to breakdown of services or accident, however caused.
- Seats/Berths
on trains will be reserved in 2nd class, unless otherwise specified
Tourists will be required to pay extra charges in case of increase
in train fare. They can also make their own reservations in
whatever class they like.
- In
the unlikely event of the Corporation having to cancel the tour
for reasons of force majeure, it will return in full the amount
paid by the client.
- The
Corporation does not bear any responsibility for medical treatment
(in case of illness) during the tour.
- The
authority of the tour escort is final while on tour.
Booking
/ Refund Conditions
- Full
payment is to be made at the time of booking. Payment is accepted
in cash or cheque (local) or demand draft.
- The
following deductions will be made if the booking is cancelled
by you :
- 15 days before departure: 10%
- Less than 15 days and up to 7 days before departure : 25%
- Less than 7 days or a "No Show" : 100%
Other
Important Informations
- Our
sightseeing programmes take in the most noteworthy sights in
each place. Sometimes local fairs and festivals or other happenings
compel us to alter the itinerary which should be regarded as
unavoidable adjustments of plans. If a particular monument or
complex is closed on the day of scheduled sightseeing, we try
to show it the next day, subject to availability of time.
- The
climate is pleasant in Madhya Pradesh from October to March,
getting quite cold from November to February when we suggest
you carry woolens as well. From April to September it is warm.
But always travel light carry only one suit case, weighting
no more than 20 kg and an overnight bag.
- The
tours can be joined at their respective first arrival point
in the State. However, this depends on vacancies and an advance
notice of at least 15 days is required.
