Our sightseeing programmes take in the most noteworthy sights in each place. Sometimes local fairs and festivals or other happenings compel us to alter the itinerary which should be regarded as unavoidable adjustments of plans. If a particular monument or complex is closed on the day of scheduled sightseeing, we try to show it the next day, subject to availability of time.
The climate is pleasant in Madhya Pradesh from October to March, getting quite cold from November to February when we suggest you carry woolens as well. From April to September it is warm. But always travel light carry only one suit case, weighting no more than 20 kg and an overnight bag.
The tours can be joined at their respective first arrival point in the State. However, this depends on vacancies and an advance notice of at least 15 days is required.

Day 1

Leave early morning for Jhansi, from where you are taken to Orchha. Here you sightsee the temples and palaces. In the afternoon, you continue the tour of this graceful city, which seems to have remained untouched by the influences of a changing world. You stay overnight at our riverside Betwa Cottages.

Day 2

You leave for Khajuraho, where in the evening you visit the Southern group of temples, which includes Duladeo, dedicated to Shiva, and Chatrabhuj, with its massive carved image of Vishnu. O/n hotel stay.

Day 3

You visit the Museum and the Western group of temples in the morning. The Western group includes the Kandariya Mahadeo, the largest of the temples, dedicated to Shiva. You also see Chaunsat Yogini, the only granite temple and chronologically the oldest shrine of the group. Leave for Jhansi after an early lunch returning to Delhi, with fond memories of the 'medieval splendour' you've seen.
