Railways
Daman is linked by road only to the rest part of India. The nearest railhead Vapi, which is about 12-13 km away, isthe turn off point on the NH 8, that links Delhi-Mumbai.

From Vapi one can opt for a shared taxi, that costs around Rs 10-15 or exclusive hire (charges around RS 70). Taxis are virtually available in all parts of cities, that ofcourse include railway station and bus stand. Autorickshaw is another options; the fare is negotiable.
