Day-By-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Cochin Today, you'll be received from the Cochin Airport/Rly.stn, followed by transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Cochin – Munnar Drive to Munnar. Rest of the day is free at leisure.
Day 3: Munnar Today, enjoy the scenic destination of Munnar and visit tea plantations. Also take a tour to Rajamala.
Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady Drive to Thekkady. Today, is reserved for leisure activities, along with jungle safari at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Day 5: Thekkady – Kumarakom Morning drive down through tea and rubber plantations to reach tranquil Kumarakom. Explore Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Day 6: Kumarakom – Alleppey Morning depart for Alleppey. Enjoy houseboat ride on backwaters amidst lush green vegetation.
Day 7: Alleppey – Kovalam Proceed to Kovalam. Rest of the day spent at leisure on the beach.
Day 8: Kovalam – Kanyakumari Proceed to Kanyakumari, to see the confluence of Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea at sunset.
Day 9: Kanyakumari – Kovalam Morning return to Kovalam.

Cochin which is having the best preserved history of colonial times and the ideal way to bring it alive is to take a walk down the memory lane. The major tourist attractions are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue and Mattancherry Palace. | | | | Day 2: Cochin – Munnar |  | | Drive to Munnar, known for its natural beauty, calmness and mild cold climate. Located in the south Western Ghats of India, Munnar is a charming hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala. The land blessed with natural splendour looks dazzling with rocky peaks, rolled mountains, manicured tea gardens and soothing mountain air. Munnar is located at the confluence of Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. | | | | Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady |  | Post breakfast check out and drive to Thekkady. Set on a jeep safari inside Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary situated on the banks of the Periyar Lake. The sanctuary is one of the biggest natural reserves in India which covers about 777 km squares. Home to myriad wild creatures this protected area lies in the middle of mountainous region of Cardamom Hills and is cradled with picturesque Periyar Lake. Animals such as elephant, sambar, gaur and wild boars and beauteous bird populations such as darters, cormorants, kingfishers and racket tailed Drongos have made the park their home. Spot these animals coming to the banks of Periyar Lake to quench their thirst while you sail on a boat in the pristine lake. Also, visit a spice plantation in the vicinity later and return to the hotel for night stay.
