Located at the confluence of two rivers Phochu and Mochu, Punakha is famous for its temples, courtyards, halls and towers. Around Punakha, in the valley, tourists can also visit Chimi Lhakhang, Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten and Talo. Chimi Lhakhang dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley who in the late 15th century used humor, songs and outrageous behavior to preach his teachings. Right now we do not have list of hotels in Punakha. We are working hard to provide the best accommodation in Punakha hotels, which we will update shortly on our website.
