| | | Day 1: Delhi - Rishikesh |  | | Depart from Delhi for Rishikesh via Haridwar. On arrival, overnight stay in the hotel. | | | | Day 2 : Rishikesh | | | Morning proceed for sightseeing of Rishikesh. Visit Triveni ghat, Swarg Ashram, Lakshman Jhula, Geeta Bhawan etc. Afternoon drive to resort at Uttarkashi. Evening at Leisure, followed by O/N stay. | | | | Day 3 : Gangotri | | | Drive to Gangotri (3040 Mt.) In the evening visit Gangotri temple and O/N stay at Gangotri. | | | | Day 4 : Bhojbasa | | | Trek to Bhojbasa (3658 Mt.). Trek follows the River Bhagirathi. The trek is full of fascinating Himalayan sites like Shivling, Sudarshan, Matri and Bhagirathi group of mountains. | | | | Day 5 : Bhojbasa | | | After breakfast, proceed for day return Trek to Tapovan (4400 Mt.) via Gaumukh, the source of river Ganges. Tapovan is a beautiful lush green meadow at the base of Mt. Shivling. O/N stay in camp of Bhojbasa. | | | | Day 6 : Uttarkashi | | | Trek down to Gangotri and drive to Uttarkashi. O/N stay at Shikhar Nature Resort. | | | | Day 7 : Uttarkashi | | | Morning proceed for city tour of Uttarkashi. Afternoon at leisure for exploring the surrounding of the Resort. In the evening after farewell dinner, start return drive to Delhi. | | | | Day 8 : Delhi | | Arrive at Delhi in the morning.
