The Concept

Contrary to the sheer natural beauty Sarahan beholds a lack of good accommodation facilities with equally good levels of service, hospitality and cuisine always existed, this trend in turn began projecting Sarahan as an en route must destination where no body wished to stay, and eventually the travelers had to miss exploring the vast natural potential Sarahan had. Realizing this and in order to bridge this gap and familiarize the traveler with the sheer natural exploits of Sarahan the whole idea of Wild Side evolved in 2003 and in continuation an Eco-Tourism retreat was set up enroute, catering to all the demands of the true traveler visiting Sarahan,Kinnaur,Spiti and Ladhak.

In the past two years since its initiation the Wild Side retreat and Camp site has made various strides towards fulfilling its objectives of providing the road weary traveler with excellent accommodation and food combined with utmost levels of cleanliness and hospitality at very reasonable tariffs. The retreat has its own unique set of customer friendly rules and concepts designed to make ones stay memorable and a constant desire for him to revisit.
