Dajipur Bison Sanctuary is situated on the border of Kolhapur
and Sindhudurg districts. The jungle resort is a scenic spot near
the backwaters of the Radhanagri dam. It is surrounded by hilly
areas and thick forests abundant in wildlife. You can spot bisons,
wild deers, chitals, gawas, etc. here.
You'll
find Gagangiri Maharaj's Math in the forest area. The special
trekking camp is more than just fun. It's an enlihtening excursions;
a must for botanical students.
