17 Days Nagaland Tour Covering Delhi, Kolkata, Dimapur, Kohima, Khonoma, Kohima, Wokha, Zunebhoto, Mokokchung, Tuensang, Mokokchung, Mon, Shangnyu, Sibsagar, Dibrugarh.

Day1: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, meet Travelmasti representative and transfer to the hotel.
 
Day 2: Delhi - Kolkata (by air)
In the morning transfer to the airport for flight to Kolkata.  In the evening visit to the Victoria Memorial and magnificent buildings in the area of Chowringhee and Dalhousie Square. O/N hotel stay.
 
Day 3: Kolkata - Dimapur (by air) - Kohima
Today transfer to the airport for the flight to Dimapur. Upon arrival, later drive to Kohima, the capital town of Nagaland and on arrival transfer to the hotel followed  by O/N stay.
 
Day 4: Kohima
Today, visit the authentic Kohima village which is also known as Bora Basti., the Kohima War Cemetery, the local market and later return to the hotel for O/N stay.
 
Day 5: Kohima - Khonoma - Kohima
Today enjoy quick excursion to Khonoma village built on a high spur with spectacular views of the mountains and beautiful orchids.  After visiting the village drive back to Kohima.
 
Day 6: Kohima - Wokha
This morning drive to Wokha. On the way to Wokha, visit Lotha Tribal Village. O/N stay in a tourist lodge.
 
Day 7: Wokha - Zunebhoto
This morning, drive to Zunebhoto, the land of the Sema Tribes. Semas are a martial tribes and are known for their fighting skills and for the ceremonial war dresses. Return to the hotel for O/N stay.
 
Day 8: Zunebhoto - Mokokchung
This morning, drive to Mokokchung. En route visit Ungma village the second largest village in Nagaland and is still steeped in traditions. After visiting the village, drive to Mokokchung, and later return to the hotel for O/N stay.
 
Day 9: Mokukchung - Tuensang
Morning drive to Tuensang. En route if time permits, visit Longtrok at Chungliyimti where according to Ao legend and beliefs, the first Ao ancestors had emerged. After visiting Longtrok drive to Tuensang. which homes beautiful, cheerful and yet attached to ancient wild life accustomed people of Changs, Yimchungers, Khiamungams, Upper Konyaks, Sangtams, Semas and Phoms. O/N hotel stay.
 
Day 10: Tuensang
Today visit the villages of Yakor, Sangpur and Pansao to see Yimchunger and Khiamungem tribes. Return to hotel for O/N stay.
 
Day 11: Tuensang - Mokukchung (about 115 km)
This morning drive to Mokukchung. En route visit Longkhum village of Ao Tribe, which lies atop a hill. The tree lined approach road to the village is impressive. The view from the students Jubilee Tower on the highest point of the village is breathtaking.
 
Day 12: Mokukchung - Mon
Enjoy early morning drive to Mon- the land of the Tattoo faced Naga artisans and craftsman. On the way visit some of the Konyak Tribe, Tobu Village.
 
Day 13: Mon
Today visit Hakpang and Angpang villages in the Mon district. These villages are around 20 kms away from Mon. These villages are still keeping hundreds of skulls in their Morong (community hall).
 
Day 14: Mon - Shangnyu
In the morning visit Shangnyu village. There is a wonderful wooden monument which measures about 8 feet in height and 12 feet in breadth, which has, it is believed, been constructed by the divine angels. Numerous figures of human being and other creatures are carved on it.
 
Day 15: Shangnyu - Sibsagar
Today leave for Sibsagar. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit the famous Shiva Dol Temple. O/N hotel stay in Sibsagar.
 
Day 16: Sibsagar – Dibrugarh - Delhi
In the morning drive to the Dibrugarh airport to connect flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer to hotel and later, transfer to the international airport.
 
Day 17: Departure:
Around midnight flight back to home destination.
