The complex is home to 108 temples of sandstones and marble. A beautiful idol of Lord Vishnu made up of black stone beguiles the visitors. Intricate stone carvings give a lovely appearance to the temple. The commendable architecture of Eklingnath Temple has much more to offer the multitude of spectators visiting here. With an emphatic pyramidal style, the two stories temple has many richly incised towers. Inside the temple, there is a magnificent pillared hall or 'mandap'. Just after entering the hall, you will be welcomed by a shining silver image of Nandi. One can find some other stone images of Nandi along with a stunning idol of Eklingji (Lord Shiva), made out of black marble. The surrounding purifies the soul of devotees as the priest keep making the atmosphere redolent with sacred fragrance. The height of 50 feet gives a lovely appearance to the temple. The Shivling receives the milk, flowers and other items which are conferred by the devotees.
