In Abu Dhabi, an agreement for the sale of 809,000 square feet of beach front was signed between Abu Dhabi's asset-management arm Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) and Rotana Hotels. The five-star Saadiyat Rotana Resort and Spa, which will be designed with a distinctly themed atmosphere, will be built on the secluded Saadiyat Beach - one of six districts of the island. The luxury Saadiyat Rotana Resort and Spa will have a 350-room upscale hotel, a private stretch of beach, a variety of Food and Beverage outlets with meeting and Conference facilities in addition to a Spa and a fully equipped Body lines Health and Fitness Club.
