Crocodile Farm Pattaya Beach, Thailand

Duration of tour: 3 hours 30 mins

The Tour

During this tour, you will enter the petrified forest of the Million Years Stone Park. Over an area of 40 acres, gardens have been fashioned round the remains of a former forest, long since turned to stone. Exotic plants and trees abound amongst this landscape; include old Thai style trained trees from the Ayutthaya and early Bangkok period. They have an almost bonsai-like quality, though slightly larger than the original Japanese variety, which can also be found within the park. There are daily shows here at the crocodile farm, where the handlers do not fear to place their heads between the reptile’s jaws. Other animals include an albino selection, elephants, camels, lions, tigers and bears. Birds, including saris cranes, cassowaries and ostriches. Also fish, represented by the native giant catfish of the Mekong (the largest freshwater fish in the world).
