Metropolitan hotels cosseting, contemporary style is unique to Bangkok. The look is fresh, with an emphasis on liveability and comfort, acknowledging influences from both east and west with high-tech detailing.

The simple, ample volumes are flooded with light. Natural materials include Makha wood from Thailand, combined with oxidized brass panelling. Each room’s individual identity is enriched by paintings from Thai artist, Natee Utarit.

City Rooms :
These comfortable, airy rooms perfectly reflect the Metropolitan’s clean-lined style. The queen-sized bed is flanked by an L-shaped teak bench and the bathroom has a combined shower bathtub.

Studio Rooms :
These light-filled, king-bedded rooms offer generous desk space and a comfortable sitting area loaded with Thai silk cushions. The limestone and mosaic-tiled bathrooms have separate tubs and showers.

Metropolitan Rooms :
These are among the largest deluxe king or twin-bedded rooms in Bangkok. Furnishings include a Ming-style teak chair. Limestone and large bathrooms have separate showers and bathtubs.

Terrace Rooms :
These ample rooms include a large private patio with clean-lined landscaping, a relaxing sitting area and refreshing outdoor shower. Inside find a king-sized bed, an L-shaped teak bench and work desk.

Executive Suites :
With a connecting living room and bedroom, ensuite bathroom and separate guest WC, these suites are among our bestsellers. You have a choice of a continue living area or a well laid out space for meetings.

Penthouse Suites :
Approached via private corridor dressed with antique teakwood carving, Chinese 'horse shoe' chairs and temple bells, our four duplex king-bedded suites on the hotel’s 11th floor are drenched in sunshine.

Electronically operated Thai silk curtains open to reveal excellent pool or city views. There is an open-plan living space with a Helen Yardley rug and Patricia Urguilo sofa, a spacious working area and Jacuzzi.

A 24-hour private butler service is available with these suites.

COMO Suite :
On the 11th floor, this duplex two-bedroom suite has exceptional views and comes with personal butler services. Both bedrooms offer king-sized beds and large walk-in wardrobes. Bathrooms feature Jacuzzi tubs and separate showers.

The suite also features a living room suitable for corporate meetings or family lounging, a dining room, fully equipped kitchen, a generous working area and two guestrooms. Interior highlights include a red lacquer cabinet and a custom-designed, hand-blown ceiling light.

Award winning Australian chef Daniel Moran focuses on fresh, healthy, local ingredients. In this spirit, Moran combines eastern and western traditions to create tantalising dishes full of innovative twists.

Cy’an is a headline restaurant with tables on the poolside verandah. Its menu draws inspiration from the Mediterranean. Glow serves COMO Shambhala’s signature wellness cuisine while the Met Bar features modern Asian dishes in club-like environs.

Cy’an  :-
Conceived by COMO’s Executive Chef Amanda Gale, Cy’an is a modern, headline restaurant for Bangkok serving Mediterranean cuisine enriched with Moorish accents.

The strong seafood emphasis and subtle spicing is constantly refreshed by Daniel Moran who currently presides over menus.

Tables spill out on to the open-air verandah flanking the hotel’s pool. It is an atmospheric, mood-rich space open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Glow :-
For light, healthful dining, the Metropolitan Bangkok offers a trailblazing address for the Thai capital. Glow, located adjacent to the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape, offers a menu based on the COMO Shambhala wellness cuisine.

Menus feature delicious meals, energising juices and blends rich in living enzymes, vitamins and minerals. This healthful slant is in line with the COMO Shambhala menus available at all COMO properties.

Glow is also ideal for an any-hour meeting. Breakfast is served daily from 6am to 11am, with all-day dining available from 11am to 9pm.

Met Bar :-
Bangkok’s Met Bar, reserved for hotel guests and members only, provides an intimate, exclusive place to party late into the night.

From 4pm to 9pm, the Met Bar serves delectable Thai fare to a high-flying crowd. At night, it morphs into a sultry, lounge-style members bar with deep-club chairs and wine-dark walls.

Bar staff create innovative cocktails while headline DJs spin eclectic lounge sounds from around the world. All this is enjoyed under moody lighting and amidst the company of like-minded sybarites.

Private Dining  :-
For meetings and events, the Metropolitan Bangkok offers a range of competitively priced menus.

The Metropolitan Bangkok can make any event memorable from a birthday party at Cy’an, which features private dining facilities seating up to 14, to a working lunch menu from Glow, to weddings, engagements and high-profile conferences.

Room Service :-
Metropolitan Bangkok 24-hours room service includes ‘Night Owl’ Thai-inspired comfort options like chicken satay, fragrant beef dumpling and rice noodle soup, burgers, sandwiches and salads (from 11pm to 11am).

An in-room breakfast is available from 6.30am to 11am featuring à la carte selections from Glow’s healthy menu. Hot dishes include sweetcorn cakes, poached eggs, grilled asparagus and dill yoghurt.

Metropolitan Bangkok all-day dining menu (24 hours) features authentic Thai dishes such as green papaya salad and international classics (pizza and pasta, including a meltingly good Bologna-style pork ragù).
