Savista also offers easy access to the tourist attractions in and around Jaipur – 30 minute drive (22 km) to the Pink City, 45 minute drive (45 km) to Amber Fort and the Jal Mahal, and on the way from Jaipur city to the historical towns of Pushkar and Ajmer.

Room Details:
The Haveli: The Savista haveli blends traditional architectural design with comfortable modern interiors. It houses 16 bedroom suites and a state-of-the-art recreation and dining complex that includes a library, music room, business center and several spacious, breezy lounges. The haveli is set in its own gardens of jasmine, parijat, kanchan, khejri, gulmohur and neem trees.
The haveli is Wi-Fi enabled, and guests can connect to the internet through our business center, or using their laptops by the pool.
The pool-courtyard: The haveli rises in two levels around a central pool-court, overlooked by balconies and terraces that girdle the entire complex. The 20-metre swimming pool is of environmentally conscious design, refilled each day with fresh, cool water that is continuously recycled to irrigate the surrounding gardens and farmland.
Indoor recreation complex: The reception, lounge, library and conference room are at the ground level, overlooking the pool-court on one side and leading into gardens of neem and khejri trees on the other.
Rooms:
Savista offers 16 elegantly-designed and comfortable guest-rooms, to make every guest feel special and well looked-after. All have ensuite bathrooms (with shower), air-conditioned, and have heating for the winter months. A few select rooms have fire-places. Every room has either an attached balcony, private sun terrace or atrium.
Kesar: Kesar is the Hindi word for saffron, and this folky Rajasthani room reflects the sun-kissed desert - furnishings in flaming saffron and deep red with folk motifs. With a king-sized bed and large atrium, this room overlooks the garden and rising sun.
Lapis Lazuli: The décor for this room is a mosaic of different shades of blue, complemented by antique Rajasthani furniture. With a king-sized bed and outdoor balcony, this room overlooks a grove of khejri trees and undulating cropland.
Parijat: Celebrated in Indian folklore, the aromatic Parijat flower is the inspiration for this room. The décor is a fusion of glowing pinks, coral and magenta, offset by silver grey. This room has a king bed, and an attached sitting room overlooking fields.
Terracotta: A spacious poolside room with French windows opening out onto a leafy arbor, the décor is a blend of wood-carved antique Rajasthani and colonial furniture, with soft furnishings in orange and brick-red, offset by brilliant blue.
Bhaskara: Large French windows open out into a grove of shady neem trees, and the balcony faces the pool. This spacious tubular room has a modern décor, with a wrought iron king bed. The colours here, in brilliant yellow and silvery white, are a homage to the sun and moon.
Nimbuda: The mirror image of Bhaskara, this room opens out into a grove of trees on one side and the pool on the other. This spacious tubular room has a modern décor and the coolest of lime green interiors.
Gulaabo: A large cool room with an antique king bed, the décor here celebrates Jaipur’s rose-pink theme and block-printing craft. French windows overlook fields of wheat and maize, while a balcony opens out into the pool-court on the other side.
Kachnaar: Named after the flower of the Kachnaar tree, this cozy upper level room has mirror-worked embroidered soft furnishings in brilliant shades of red. It has its own private sun terrace, infused with the aroma of nearby flowering creepers. The room provides a vista of tree-tops to one side, and opens out behind into a terrace overlooking the pool.
Gulmohur: The fuchsia and warm yellow décor of this room, hand-painted on the traditional Rajasthani furniture, is inspired by the flowering gulmohur trees of the region. The room has its own private sun terrace that overlooks a tree-dotted landscape and sandy ravines.
Mayura: Pale aquamarine, deep green and brilliant blue – the hues of the peacock, bird of Rajasthan – complement the traditional Rajasthani furniture in this room. Its unique feature is two private open terraces that overlook fields of wheat, mustard and pulses.
Khejri: The green and yellow colours of this beloved tree of Rajasthan find their echo in this spacious room. Its other features include: antique teak furniture, a cozy fireplace, windows overlooking fields and a balcony overhanging the pool.
Indigo: With white adobe floors and soft furnishings in deep indigo, this room has a blend of traditional and modern wrought-iron furniture. Overlooking the pool from the upper level, it has a king-sized bed and a cozy fireplace.
Jasmine: A large room on the upper level, its all-white décor is a counterpoint to the deep copper hues of the four-poster king bed, and traditional Rajasthani furniture. It has a fireplace, windows overlooking green fields, and a balcony that hangs over the pool. An excellent choice as a honeymooners’ hideaway.
Sujalam: Named after the old river that used to flow alongside the Savista estate, this room overlooks the dramatic jagged wooded ravines of this former tributary. With twin beds, this room has a glowing aubergine décor, with a balcony overlooking the pool.
The food is simple, tasty home cooking – a blend of North & South Indian, Rajasthani and select Western – using organically grown, locally sourced ingredients.
Breakfast is generally served under a canopy of trees. Lunch and dinner may be al fresco or in the formal dining room, according to the weather. Snacks and drinks are available through the day by the poolside. The bar-lounge with its crackling fireplace offers an alternative social setting on cold evenings. Savista is committed to accommodating guests’ dietary restrictions and preferences.
Spa A low-slung complex, separate from the haveli and hidden behind a curtain of trees, houses Savista’s spa and wellness facilities. The spa offers traditional Indian ayurvedic massages and yoga classes, in addition to steam and sauna facilities.
Ayurvedic massage: In addition to the sauna, steam and jacuzzi baths, the spa also offers a range of traditional massage treatments, including Panchakarma, Sirodhara and Abhyanga massages belonging to the ancient Indian Ayurvedic healing tradition.
Guests staying for up to a week can also schedule an appointment with the Ayurvedic physician in advance, to determine their vikrit dosha - the bodily imbalance characterized in one of three forms, vata, pitta and kapha - and prescribe a dietary and therapeutic regimen.
A range of cleansing and toning drinks and herbal teas is another specialty of the spa. You may wish to learn some of these techniques, in order to make deceptively simple yet powerful lifestyle changes.
Yoga Whether you are an enthusiast or an eager-to-learn entrant, you will find that the peace and stillness at Savista offers an excellent environment in which to hone your yoga practice. The lawns, machaans (platforms under trees), amphitheatre or indoors - the choice of location is yours.
The resident yoga teacher would be happy to put learners through their paces, and introduce them to simple and joyful methods to de-stress through breathing (pranayama), laughter (hasya yoga), meditation and other relaxation techniques (asanas). Some of these techniques could be the beginning of major lifestyle changes for you.
Fitness: Savista’s fitness facilities include a gym, tennis court and swimming pool. The gym is fitted out with a range of both cardiovascular and weight training machines; tennis rackets and balls are available upon request. In addition, guests will find the estate’s outer rim a perfect track for a morning or evening jog.
Natural living: Most of the vegetables, cereals and pulses used at Savista are organically grown in and around the Savista estate without the aid of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The milch animals that provide milk for Savista are fed pesticide-free green fodder, our spices are freshly ground every day, the butter is home-churned and unsalted, and the sparingly-used cooking oil is cold-pressed. Poultry, meat and eggs are procured from surrounding farms where they are reared in a natural environment.
Rest & relaxation: The groves of neem, khejri and fruit trees at Savista filter and cool the unpolluted breezes that waft across the sun-drenched landscape. Sunlight there is in plenty in Rajasthan, and the choice is yours to soak it in by the poolside or in the privacy of the terraces, or to luxuriate in hammocks under the spreading branches of the tree.
