The Ritz Carlton is a proposed luxury hotel in Kolkata. Nitesh Estates in a joint venture with Ritz Carlton have put in to develop the Royal Calcutta Turf Club's four-acre property on Russell Street into a five-star hotel.
The 63-hotel strong Ritz Carlton luxury hospitality chain has partnered with realty company Nitesh Estates to also set up a hotel in Kolkata.

Placed on a par with global luxury hotel brands like Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental and St Regis, when operational, The Ritz-Carlton, Kolkata, will most likely have to compete with the likes of Shangri-la, Sheraton, JW Marriott, Hyatt besides our very own Indian luxury hotel brand — The Leela Palace Kempinski.
