The resort is located in the flat country and is surrounded by horse-shoes shape formation of golden sand dunes. Rawla has ethnic village concept, non-touristic, undisturbed, hassle free atmosphere. There is no electricity. The resort spend the night using moonlight or the glow from the star, clean sky provides enough. Though lanterns / candle / solar lights are in service.
The Resort Rawla is located 32 km west of Jaisalmer, and enroute of Jaisalmer – Sam Sand Dunes Road. 2 Km. South of main road and diversion just after 15 km stone of Sam.

Huts & Tents
Huts ( Traditional Rural Cottages ) : There is ten huts, each look like a typical desert hut, circular and cylindrical in shape with conical thatch roof on top. That is what you see in the interior of the desert villages. Inside are two beds with cotton cushion, mattresses, bed covers, pillows and cotton-quilts.
Swiss Tents : Twenty five swiss tents out of these. Ten Swiss tents with space of 14x14 feet, 7x14 varandah and attached stone constructed 7x7 feet bathroom and Fifteen swiss tents with 12x12 feet room and 6x12 attached bathroom with running hot cold water Facilities(out of 25 swiss tent 12 tent have hand shower facilities and the rest tap water facilities).Each tent has dressing table chairs and center table, two coirfom mattresses with beds.
Safari Tents: It also has safari tents which can pitched on demand. In safari tent-ground coirfom mattress, neat & clean bed sheets, pillow and quilts.
