Pug's Paw Eco Retreat is a visual treat to the eye which lies plum in the heart of the kumauni Himalayas 5,200 feet above sea level. The tall awesome pine trees, the brook flowing, the green meadows mingling with mountains of dark green and the hills in the distance make the retreat a Gift of God on earth. We have tried to give a kumaoni flavor to the retreat and want that each gust goes back with fond memories of their stay out here. There is a lot to do when one is here. One can go for long treks as there are panoramic mountains trails over flowing with wild crimson rhododendrons and slopes of fir, oak and pines from where one can get a breathtaking view of the spectacular Himalayas. If you are adventurous then why not try your hand at Rappelling and rock climbing which are both available and nothing like an early morning walk in crisp fresh air with clouds of mist swirling around you and wisps of dew drops on your hair - an experience not to be missed. As we have two fishing ponds, fishing lovers can come along with their rods and spend a leisurely hour or two with our carp! The retreat is in the middle of a pear, plum, apricot, walnut, orchard so the guests can have a taste of the fruits of the various seasons, besides this fresh seasonal organic vegetable are also available on the retreat.
