Day-By-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi
Arrive in New Delhi and transfer to The Oberoi.

Day 2: Delhi
Morning visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid and market of Chandni Chowk. Evening enjoy massage at the Oberoi Spa.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur
Depart for Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to The Oberoi Rajvilas. Afternoon explore City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar.  Evening experience traditional ‘Aarti’ at the Shiva Temple within the hotel followed by a spa therapy at the Oberoi Spa.

Day 4: Jaipur
Morning Yoga session at the hotel. Afternoon visit the Amber Fort. Spend rest of the day shopping in the city. Evening an insight into Rajasthani culture and its past by a historian.

Day 5: Jaipur - Agra
Depart by air for Agra. On arrival in Agra, transfer to The Oberoi Amarvilas. Evening get an insight into the legacies of the Mughal Empire by a historian.

Day 6: Agra
Morning visit the Taj Mahal. Afternoon visit Fatehpur Sikri. Evening: At leisure.

Day 7: Agra - Delhi
Morning visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah. Afternoon depart by air for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, transfer to The Oberoi.

Day 8: Delhi
In Delhi visit India Gate, Qutab Minar and Rashtrapati Bhawan. In the evening Visit Dilli Haat.

Day 9: Delhi
Early morning: Transfer to the airport for your onward destination.

Day 1: Delhi
Upon your arrival at the airport, meet our representative awaiting just outside the arrival hall, past the customs area & currency shops. Transfer to The Oberoi and later at the hotel our representative will brief you about tour starting day after.

Delhi, the national capital of India is an historic city and commercial centre of Northern India. Numerous dynasties ruled and flourished each bequeathing the city with different colors, shades and folds of civilization as heritage. With a multi-ethnic society, Delhi welcomes all to witness a miniature of the vast Indian subcontinent. 
 
Day 2: Delhi
Today Delhi will unleash its historic and cultural heritage as you are introduced to various awe inspiring monuments. Start exploring from the undulated lanes of Old Delhi.  The attractions here worth visiting first include the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Red Fort and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India.  The legendary market of Chandni Chowk is from where you can purchase anything from spices to perfumes to traditional Indian dresses to glittering jewelry so on and so forth.

In the evening back at the hotel a delightful massage at the Oberoi Spa awaits you that will rejuvenate your mind, body and soul after an eventful day in the national capital.
 
Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur
In the morning depart by air for Jaipur (1 hour flight). On arrival in Jaipur you will be escorted to The Oberoi Rajvilas.

Afternoon on this day will bring a tour of the Pink City of Jaipur.  Visit numerous magnum opuses of Mughal architecture in the city. Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory- an assortment of architectural astronomical instruments. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II it consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time and predicting eclipses etc. Stunning City Palace will be the next destination on this city tour.  City Palace is a complex of various palaces in Jaipur which is an erstwhile seat of Maharaja of the region. Drive-by the stunning Hawa Mahal- a palace with hundreds of ornamental windows, built for royal ladies to be able to watch the daily processions of city.

Evening will bring a fascinating experience of the traditional ‘Aarti’ (prayer) ceremony at the ancient Shiva Temple within the hotel.  This will be followed by a rejuvenating spa therapy at the Oberoi Spa inside the hotel.
 
Day 4: Jaipur
Morning in Jaipur will begin with rejuvenating Yoga session at the hotel.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and leave for a half-day sightseeing tour to the hilltop fortress of Amber. A small trek up the hill will be covered while riding an elephant in the royal manner.  The fort was built in 1592 under the reign of Raja Man Singh and was later modified by successive rulers for next 150 years.  Today the structure stands with its beautifully carved ceilings, intricate patterns and stunning designs. 

Spend rest of the day shopping in the city for the famous handicrafts and other trinkets from Jaipur; you can bag various gem stones, silver jewelry and hand painted textiles from the effervescent bazaars of Jaipur.

Evening brings an insight into Rajasthani culture and its past by a historian.
 
Day 5: Jaipur - Agra
Enjoy the morning at leisure followed by a drive to the airport.  Our representative will make all the arrangements for your comfortable flight to Agra (1 hour 10 minutes flight). On arrival in Agra you will be escorted to The Oberoi Amarvilas.  Spend the evening in the hotel and get an insight into the legacies of the Mughal Empire by a historian.
 
Day 6: Agra
Morning visit the ultimate emblem of love and an edifice that has most rightly been called a World Wonder- Taj Mahal.  Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Taj Mahal is a UNESCO acclaimed site and is called “the jewel of Muslim art in India” for its beauteous design and configuration. 

Also pay a visit Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site.  The monuments and edifices of Fatehpur Sikri are applauded by UNESCO for they showcase a beauteous synthesis of various regional schools of architecture and influences of Hindu, Jain and Islamic architectural styles can be seen here. Explore the beautiful edifices inside which includes Jama Masjid, the Buland Darwaza, palace of Queen Jodha Bai, Birbal's Palace, tomb of Saint Salim Chisti inside.
 
Day 7: Agra - Delhi
Later, visit the imposing structure of Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of public and private audience. Also visit, the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah a replica of Taj Mahal often regarded as a draft of the famous mausoleum was built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.

In the afternoon depart for the airport in Agra and board your flight back to Delhi (60 minutes flight). On arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to The Oberoi.  The rest of the day will be free for leisure and independent activities in the national capital.
 
Day 8: Delhi
Visit the eclectic mix of modern and cosmopolitan worlds of India and take a sightseeing tour of New Delhi.  Once called Lutyens’ Delhi, the area of New Delhi was designed by British architect, Sir Edward Lutyens.  These glorious imitations of Victorian style architecture have always been an eye-candy for the connoisseurs of art and architecture.  Enjoy a drive past monuments of national significance such as President’s House and Parliament House. Pay visit to the grand War Memorial, India Gate and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Qutab Minar.  

Evening in the capital will bring a leisurely stroll in the contemporary art and crafts market of Dilli Haat that offers a fabulous collection of Indian handicrafts.
 
Day 9: Delhi
Your trip ends back in Delhi where the morning begins with a breakfast.  Guided by our representative you will reach Airport in time to board your flight back home.
