Masrur, a famous Hindu Pilgrimage lies around 15 km away from Kangra town. It is well known for its Shikhara style rock cut temples. These temples form a group of 15 monolithic rock temples sculpted in the splendid style of the Kailash temple at Ellora and dating back to the 8 th century. Images of Ram, Sita and Lakhsman can be found in the sanctum of the main temple.
