After completing the pre-boarding formalities, enjoy the one of its own kind of ride in a wonderfully decked out train. Dinner and O/N on board. | | | | Day 2: Sunday- Gaya | | | The train reaches at the cultural city of Gaya with the day break. After a scrumptious breakfast, proceed to Nalanda. After lunch in afternoon, drive to Bodh Gaya. Here you come to know about the history of Buddha, the creator of Buddhism. Descry the complex of Bodhi Temple, a marvelous construction of King Ashoka. Return back to Gaya and rejoin the train. | | | | Day 3: Monday- Varanasi | | | Today you open your eyes in Varanasi, a downright sacrosanct city. The multicolored markets crowded with horde of tourists and people performing traditional rituals and taking holy dip in the river of Ganges can be espied in the city of Varanasi. Post lunch visit to the ruins, stupa and the Ashoka Pilla. Rejoin the train at the end of the day. Dinner and O/N on board. | | | | Day 4: Tuesday- Umaria | | | The train arrives in Umaria early morning. We go for an adventurous outing in Bandhavgarh National Park. The rich fauna found in the park include the species of deers, langurs, sloth bears and exotic birds. After a hearty brunch, head towards the train. | | | | Day 5: Wednesday- Khajuraho | | | Have a leisurely breakfast to go for an exciting expedition to Khajuraho. The erotic sculptures and romantically dancing figures. The reflection of Indo-Aryan architecture can be seen in the intricately carved temples of Khajuraho. The sensual engraved walls provoke the hidden desires of love. Visit the Kandariya Mahadev Temple and the Chaunsath Yogini Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Give a farewell to the city and board the train making you feel a bon vivant every second. Return back to the train.Dinner and O/N on board. | | | | Day 6: Thursday- Agra | | Today we proceed towards the glorified city of Agra, the home to one of the world's architectural masterpiece- Taj Mahal. Visit the Diwan-e-aam and royal pavilions like the Shah Jahani Mahal. After experiencing the royal vistas of formidable edifices, go for shopping and grab some handicrafts, embroidered fabrics and leather goods from the market. Rejoin the train for the onwards journey.

The city never fails to impress the visitors reaching here in large number. Catch the sights of ancient temples and ruined palaces like the Man Mandir Palace, Gujari Mahal, Sas Bahu Ka Mandir and Suraj Kund. After taking sumptuous lunch at Usha Kiran Palace, which has now been converted into a heritage hotel, visit to Jai Vilas Palace and Scindia Museum where collection of handicrafts amaze the spectatators. After tasting cocktails in Usha Kiran Palace, head back to board the train. Dinner and O/N on board. | | | | Day 8: Saturday- Disembark in Delhi | | | Early morning disembarkation in the capital city of Delhi.
