Day-By-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Cochin Arrival at Cochin Airport. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Cochin - Munnar After a delicious breakfast, depart for Munnar and enjoy the scenic beauty of the marvellous waterfalls and high mountains with the low-flying clouds passing.
Day 3: Munnar Proceed for sightseeing in Munnar, including Mattupetty Lake and Rajamala.
Day 4: Munnar- Thekkady Proceed to Thekkady- the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. After Boat cruise in Periyar Lake visit spice plantation.
Day 5: Thekkady- Alleppey Morning depart for Alleppey. Enjoy houseboat ride on backwaters amidst lush green vegetation.
Day 6: Alleppey- Kovalam Proceed to Kovalam. Day spent at leisure on the beach.
Day 7: Kovalam- Kanyakumari- Kovalam After a hearty breakfast, embark on a thrilling full day excursion to Kanyakumari. Return to Kovalam in the evening.
Day 8: Kovalam- Trivandrum- Departure After a delightful breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum airport/railway station for your onward journey.

Stay overnight at the hotel. | | | | Day 3: Munnar |  | Located in the south Western Ghats of India, Munnar is a charming hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala. The land blessed with natural splendour looks dazzling with rocky peaks, rolled mountains, manicured tea gardens and soothing mountain air. Munnar is located at the confluence of Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers.
The day at Munnar begins with a sumptuous breakfast and will be followed by a sightseeing tour of the picturesque environs of Munnar. Essentially a tea town, Munnar catches the visitor’s attention with its refreshing aroma first and then continues to impress with its beauty and placidity. The sightseeing plan for the day includes visit to pristine Mattupetty Lake and neighbouring Swiss Livestock Project, a specialized dairy farm where about 100 varieties of high yielding cattle are reared. The breathtaking scenery of lush mountains of Eravikulam National Park is a natural habitat to estimate half the world population of Nilgiri Tahr along with other ungulates such as Indian Muntjac and Sambar Deer. Other inhabitants of the park are Golden Jackal, Jungle Cat, Leopard, Tiger, Dhole and more. The region is worth paying a visit for both its enchanting flora and fauna.
Take a stroll around the local markets to pick souvenirs before you return to your hotel in the evening. | | | | Day 4: Munnar- Thekkady |  | | After an appetizing breakfast, leave for Thekkady passing through cardamom hills. Check into the resort. After lunch, visit spice plantation such as cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea estate etc. On way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Stay overnight at the hotel. | | | | Day 5: Thekkady- Alleppey |  | | After a sumptuous breakfast, drive to Alleppey which is endowed with immense natural beauty and an array of rivers, canals and lakes ideal for boat cruise. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or take an optional cruise on the backwaters.
