It is situated 3 kilometres outside the city of Bharatpur famous for its Bird Santuary. This is the centre of the “Golden Triangle” of India. A welcoming atmosphere is created by the owner, Diwan Singh and his family. He has been in tourist industry for 15 years and is an exceptional host. Room Details
All 42 bedrooms have spacious en suite bathrooms or shower rooms. The suites and deluxe rooms all have balconies overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside and Bird Sanctuary. Standard rooms have no balcony but have large window with pleasant views. King size doubles and twin beds with deep comfortable mattresses, tasteful furnishings, TV, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities are provided as standard. Suites and deluxe rooms have a mini bar and a complementary bottle of mineral water is provided daily for everyone. There is small computer suite for guests to use the internet and wifi.
The hotel has a large 120 seat restaurant - The Carvan Restaurant - suitable for parties, weddings, conference and other events. There is also a smaller private restaurant - The Mughal Room – for residents. Indian and European food is provided in both, catering for all tastes. There is a an intimate Sunset Bar for residents, overlooking the swimming pool and the glorious golden sunsets of the hotel. Drinks and snacks are also served in the Baraderie. This is a cool and shady pavilion, set in the enclosed courtyard garden of the hotel.
