Overview

Kyari Camp is set in a village deep in the jungles of the Corbett periphery in the Kumaon foothills.

The camp is designed on eco-development principles assuring a qualitatively unique experience. Here you can experience typical Himalayan village life with all its interesting facets.

Apart from being a very picturesque location on the banks of a stream the camp offers a multitude of adventure and wildlife based activities- mountain bicycling, trekking, river crossing, cave explorations, bird watching and wildlife safaris.

At Kyari, you an experience far beyond the typical Corbett holiday. Here you can feel the forest beneath your feet, towering over your head. You can brave it on a mountain bicycle or wander anywhere into the wilderness.

Down the stream into the spectacular sunsets or up it for river crossing, climb a hill; explore the caves, run into flocks of birds. Or just lie back in the bullock cart on the winding path to a picnic deep in the jungle. Elephant and jeep safaris, wildlife tracking and endless jungle trails complete the wilderness experience.

Location

Camp Kyari is located in the Kyari village to the east of the river Kosi. It is on the foothills of the Nanital Kunjkharak sector which shields it on the east and north-east. The Khichidi stream flows right through the village, alongwith is the trek Sitabani the thick jungle reserve. The undulating landscape, the pristine jungles with abounding wildlife make the plane very exciting and picturesque.

Accommodation

At Camps Kyari Corbett accommodation is in American Safari Tents along-with camp cots, mattresses and sleeping bags ensure a comfortable stay in the wilderness.
