Harippad Payippad, Hotels Resorts and Apartments, Kerala
At the southern most tip of India lies a backwater country Harippad, located at about 5 km from Payippad in Kerala. Owing to the presence of more than 50 Hindu temples in and around the town (nestled between Alappuza and Kollam) Harippad is also referred to as the Town of temples Harippad, located very close to the Arabian Sea is famous for its Temples and Payippad Boat Race. The boat race is organised during the Onam festival (in the month of September) and has become a major tourist event.
