Guruvayurappan temple is counted amongst one of the largely visited temple of South India. A huge idol of Lord Krishna in their child form (Balgopal) is placed inside the temple. Many people believe that praying here is highly beneficial. Just to get a single glimpse of the deities, devotees gladly stand in long queues for hours in front of this temple.
