Golden Triangle with Vrindavan

New Delhi | Agra | Jaipur
The most coveted touring circuit of Golden Triangle has been given a sacred dimension by adding the holy towns of Mathura and Vrindavan.  The rest of the circuit comprises of three fascinating cities of Northern India- national capital Delhi, city of Taj Agra and the famous ‘Pink City’ Jaipur.  This scrupulously planned tour package is constructed to combine some of the most coveted experiences of India travel together.  Thus ranging from palaces of Rajputana age, Victorian style edifices in Delhi, cultural and geographical splendor of Mathura and Vrindavan and specimen of finest of Mughal architecture, the tour comprises of all the aspects of India travel.

Day-By-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
Arrive at Delhi and check into a hotel for overnight stay.  Rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
A full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Birla Mandir, The Grand President’s House., Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar and the India Gate.


Day 3: Delhi – Agra

Arrive at Agra. Visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Day 4: Agra- Mathura-Vrindavan-Agra

Drive to Mathura. Visit Vrindavan & explore Rangaji Temple, ISKCON Temple & Bankey Bihari Temple. Continue drive to Agra. O/N stay at Agra.

Day 5: Agra – Jaipur

Proceed to Jaipur and en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival in Jaipur Direct transfer to hotel & Overnight stay.

Day 6: Jaipur
Morning visit to the Amber Fort on an elephant (Optional). Also visit Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jaigarh, Nagargarh Forts and Jantar Mantar. Shop in the local bazaars in the evening.

Day 7: Jaipur- Delhi -Departure

Transfer to airport to connect flight for home/onward destination.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Upon your arrival at the airport, meet our representative awaiting just outside the arrival hall, past the customs area & currency shops. Later at the hotel our representative will brief you about tour starting day after.

Delhi, the national capital of India is an historic city and commercial centre of Northern India. Numerous dynasties ruled and flourished each bequeathing the city with different colours, shades and folds of civilisation as heritage.  With a multi-ethnic society, Delhi welcomes all to witness a miniature of the vast Indian subcontinent.  The rest of the day will be free for leisure.
 
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
A full day sightseeing tour of Delhi is planned for the day. Today Delhi will unleash its historic and cultural heritage as you are introduced to various awe inspiring monuments. Start exploring from the undulated lanes of Old Delhi.  The attractions here worth visiting first include the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Red Fort.  The day tour will also include visits to one of the largest brick minarets of the world- Qutab Minar, white lotus shaped Baha’i Temple- Lotus Temple, the stunning Humayun's Tomb built in 1562 CE.

Visit the eclectic mix of modern and cosmopolitan worlds of India and take a sightseeing tour of New Delhi.  Once called Lutyens’ Delhi, the area of New Delhi was designed by British architect, Sir Edward Lutyens.  These glorious imitations of Victorian style architecture have always been an eye-candy for the connoisseurs of art and architecture.  Enjoy a drive past monuments of national significance such as President’s House, and later enjoy a night view of India Gate under starlit sky here.
 
Day 3: Delhi – Agra
(Driving Time: 4hrs)
Morning drive to Agra and on arrival check into a hotel. This day is spent exploring the best of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Agra. In the afternoon, proceed for city tour of Agra covering visits to tourist destinations Agra such as visit the imposing structure of Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of public and private audience. Also visit, the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah a replica of Taj Mahal often regarded as a draft of the famous mausoleum was built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Also explore the ultimate emblem of love and an edifice that has most rightly been called a World Wonder- Taj Mahal.  Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Taj Mahal is a UNESCO acclaimed site and is called “the jewel of Muslim art in India” for its beauteous design and configuration. 
 
Day 4: Agra- Mathura- Vrindavan- Agra
After breakfast drive to the holy birthplace of Lord Krishna, Mathura.  The small town of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh is believed to be the birth place of one of the most revered of Hindu Gods - Lord Krishna. Mathura is the birthplace of Lord Krishna and the surroundings "Braj Bhoomi" is where Lord Krishna grew up. Afternoon visit Vrindavan, where Lord Krishna spent his childhood days, played the flute sporting with the Gopis and where Radha pined for her lover. In the vicinity explore holy shrines related to the lord’s lifespan such as Rangaji Temple in Vrindavan's longest temple constructed in 1851 with 50 feet tall "Dhwaja Stambha" believed to be gold plated. Continue to renowned ISKCON Temple also known as Krishna Balrama Temple; the white marble edifice of the beauteous temple is inside decked with stunning edifices of Lord Krishna and his elder brother Balrama. Conclude the trip with a visit to Bankey Bihari Temple; built in 1921it is the most popular and the most visited holy shrine in the vicinity. Return to the hotel & overnight stay at Agra.
 
Day 5: Agra – Jaipur
(Driving Time: 5/6hrs)
Morning breakfast at hotel, and proceed to Jaipur- En route visit the Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty - Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Notable among them is the Diwane Khas; Punch Mahal, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza. The monuments and edifices of Fatehpur Sikri are applauded by UNESCO for they showcase a beauteous synthesis of various regional schools of architecture and influences of Hindu, Jain and Islamic architectural styles. Resume the journey henceforth and reach Jaipur where on arrival you will be accommodated in a hotel for night stay.
 
Day 6: Jaipur
After taking leisurely breakfast leave for a half-day sightseeing tour to the hilltop fortress of Amber. One can enjoyn an optional elephant ride to the fort.  The fort was built in 1592 under the reign of Raja Man Singh and was later modified by successive rulers for next 150 years.  Today the structure stands with its beautifully carved ceilings, intricate patterns and stunning designs.  The fort houses Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors), and several beautiful marble palaces.

In the afternoon, tour the old walled city of Jaipur. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II it consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time and predicting eclipses etc. Stunning City Palace will be the next destination on this city tour.  City Palace is a complex of various palaces in Jaipur which is an erstwhile seat of Maharaja of the region. Drive-by the stunning Hawa Mahal- a palace with hundreds of ornamental windows, built for royal ladies to be able to watch the daily processions of city. Also explore stunning Jaigarh and Nagargarh Forts. Afterwards shop for souvenirs in the bazaar before returning to the hotel for the night.
 
Day 7: Jaipur- Delhi – Departure
(Driving Time: 4/5 hrs)
Today we take a flight to Delhi. Rest of the day will be free at leisure/shopping. Later in the evening you will be transferred to International Airport to catch onward flight back home.
