| | | Day 1: Arrive Delhi |  | | On arrival in Delhi, airport assistance followed by transfer to the hotel for overnight stay. | | | | Day 2: Delhi |  | After breakfast in the morning proceed for the full day city tour of Old & New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, a walking tour in Chandni Chowk, Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate. Also drive past the President's house, Parliament house, Government secretariat buildings and Connaught place, a busy shopping center. O/N stay. | | | | Day 3: Jaipur |  | This morning depart from Delhi by private car for Jaipur-the pink city. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur includes visit to City Palace in the heart of Jaipur, the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork, Jantar Mantar and the Palace of Winds. | | | | Day 4: Jaipur |  | Today, visit Amber Fort, the temple of Kali, the hall of victory or Jai Mahal and Jagmandir. You can have the unique experience of riding on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Rest of the day is free to explore the colorful town independently. In the afternoon visit the observatory, the Palace of Winds, the City Palace and Museum. Return to the hotel for overnight stay. | | | | Day 5: Ranthambore |  | This morning, drive to Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary, that homes over 300 species of birds. You will be accompanied by a naturalist into the park for evening safari on an exclusive jeep. On arrival check in at the hotel. Following dinner there may be a slideshow and an orientation talk about the park and it's wildlife by the lodge staff. | | | | Day 6: Ranthambore |  | Early morning a jeep safari into the park, which is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country. You may like to spend the afternoon visiting nearby temples and sites. Also visit the Ranthambore Fort, regarded as one of the oldest forts of Rajasthan. The fort is characterized by its temples, tanks, massive gates and huge walls. You will have another opportunity in the afternoon for tiger spotting during your second safari of the day. Overnight at the lodge / camp. | | | | Day 7: Bharatpur |  | Bharatpur is known for its World Heritage bird sanctuary, the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a haven and home to over 400 kinds of birds and many other migratory species. The style of wildlife viewing here is a highlight in itself, as you travel by bicycle or a cycle-rickshaw with a local guide who is an expert on the flora and fauna of the park. Stay overnight at Bharatpur Forest Lodge, inside the park. | | | | Day 8: Agra |  | Driving from Bharatpur to Agra you break the journey at Fatehpur Sikri an amazing ghost town that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. Then continue your drive to Agra. O/N stay. | | | | Day 9: Agra |  | Today proceed for a half day guided city tour of Taj Mahal. This magnificent monument is set around a Charbagh or 'four garden', which is split by watercourses - a reflection of Persian style. In the afternoon, visit Agra fort, followed by O/N stay. | | | | Day 10: Departure |  | Today, depart for Delhi. You will be assisted at the airport check in for your onward flight.
