Day-By-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Delhi Following your arrival in Delhi transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing tour of Delhi includes visit to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandini Chowk, Humayun's tomb, Qutab Minar Birla Mandir, drive past President’s House & India Gate.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra Morning drive via Sikandra is followed by visit to Taj Mahal and Agra Fort & tomb of Itmad-ul-Daulah.
Day 4: Agra – Jaipur Drive to Fatehpur Sikri will be followed by lunch at the nearby Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Later drive to Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur Ascend the hilltop Amber Fort on an elephant back. Later return to Jaipur to visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar.
Day 6: Jaipur – Delhi Leave Jaipur by car, halting for lunch at the Neemrana Palace, before drive to the airport for flight to Delhi.
Day 7, 8 & 9: Delhi – Rishikesh We start our day with briefing about the program by the Yoga teacher. Every day morning walk and yoga class. Every day evening in-house yoga & traditional meditation class. Late evening visit the Ghats for Aarti, dedicated to Goddesses Ganga.
Day 10: Rishikesh – Delhi Today we leave for international airport for our onward flight completely rejuvenated.

| | | Day 1: Arrive at Delhi |  | Upon your arrival at the airport, meet our representative awaiting
just outside the arrival hall, past the customs area & currency
shops. Later at the hotel our representative will brief you about tour
starting day after.
Delhi, the national capital
of India is an historic city and commercial centre of Northern India.
Numerous dynasties ruled and flourished each bequeathing the city with
different colours, shades and folds of civilisation as heritage. With a
multi-ethnic society, Delhi welcomes all to witness a miniature of the
vast Indian subcontinent.
| | | | Day 2: Delhi |  | A full day sightseeing tour of Delhi is planned for the day. Today
Delhi will unleash its historic and cultural heritage as you are
introduced to various awe inspiring monuments. Start exploring from the
undulated lanes of Old Delhi. The attractions here worth visiting first
include the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Red Fort and the
Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. The day tour will also
include visits to one of the largest brick minarets of the world- Qutab
Minar, white lotus shaped Baha’i Temple- Lotus Temple, the stunning
Humayun's Tomb built in 1562 CE, and beauteous Laxmi Narayan Temple.
Visit
the eclectic mix of modern and cosmopolitan worlds of India and take a
sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Once called Lutyens’ Delhi, the area of
New Delhi was designed by British architect, Sir Edward Lutyens. These
glorious imitations of Victorian style architecture have always been an
eye-candy for the connoisseurs of art and architecture. Enjoy a drive
past monuments of national significance such as President’s House,
Parliament House and later enjoy a night view of India Gate under
starlit sky.
| | | | Day 3: Delhi – Agra |  | Morning
drive to Agra en-route visiting Sikandra. Tomb of Akbar the Great, a
magnificent specimen of Mughal architecture, is situated at Sikandra.
A connoisseur of art Mughal Emperor himself initiated the construction
around 1600. After his death his son Jehangir completed the tomb.
On
arrival in Agra, check into the hotel. This day is spent exploring the
best of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Agra. In afternoon, visit the
ultimate emblem of love and an edifice that has most rightly been called
a World Wonder- Taj Mahal. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Taj
Mahal is a UNESCO acclaimed site and is called “the jewel of Muslim art
in India” for its beauteous design and configuration. Later, visit the
imposing structure of Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls
of public and private audience. Also visit, the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah a
replica of Taj Mahal often regarded as a draft of the famous mausoleum
was built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.
| | | | Day 4: Agra – Jaipur |  | Morning
drive to Jaipur en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri or Bharatpur National
Park (according to guests’ preference). The monuments and edifices of
Fatehpur Sikri are applauded by UNESCO for they showcase a beauteous
synthesis of various regional schools of architecture and influences of
Hindu, Jain and Islamic architectural styles can be seen here. Explore
the beautiful edifices inside which includes Jama Masjid, the Buland
Darwaza, palace of Queen Jodha Bai, Birbal's Palace, tomb of Saint Salim
Chisti inside.
Now known as Keoladeo National
Park, the bird sanctuary of Bharatpur is a renowned UNESCO World
Heritage Site famous for avifauna and highly endangered species of birds
such as Siberian Crane. A paradise for ornithologists the park is home
to over 230 species of birds. Continue your drive to Jaipur. | | | | Day 5: Jaipur |  | Enjoy
a hearty breakfast at the hotel and leave for a half-day sightseeing
tour to the hilltop fortress of Amber. A small trek up the hill will be
covered while riding an elephant in the royal manner. The fort was
built in 1592 under the reign of Raja Man Singh and was later modified
by successive rulers for next 150 years. Today the structure stands
with its beautifully carved ceilings, intricate patterns and stunning
designs .
In the afternoon, tour the old
walled city of Jaipur. Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory- an
assortment of architectural astronomical instruments. Built by Maharaja
Jai Singh II it consists of fourteen major geometric devices for
measuring time and predicting eclipses etc. Stunning City Palace will be
the next destination on this city tour. City Palace is a complex of
various palaces in Jaipur which is an erstwhile seat of Maharaja of the
region. Drive-by the stunning Hawa Mahal- a palace with hundreds of
ornamental windows, built for royal ladies to be able to watch the daily
processions of city.
| | | | Day 6: Jaipur – Delhi |  | Leave
Jaipur by car halting for lunch at Neemrana Fort. Built in 1464 AD,
Neemrana- Fort-Palace is one of the most striking heritage resorts
offering an opportunity to experience kingly excesses even to the
masses. Situated on a hillock the fort commands magnificent views of
the surrounding village. The interiors include period furniture,
antiques, frescoed paintings and a regal ambiance. A visit to the fort
thus completes the essence of royal stay in Rajasthan.
| | | | Day 7, 8 & 9: Delhi – Rishikesh |  | A
hub of masses of ashrams, yoga and meditation centers Rishikesh has
emerged as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. The picturesque background
of verdant hills, rippling sounds of holy River Ganges and soothing hill
station breeze form for perfect settings for all kinds of yoga,
meditation and other forms of rejuvenation. In the evening a grand
ritual of Aarti is performed by priests who lights grand lamps and pays
offerings to River Ganges. The sadhus (spiritual men), pilgrims and
tourists float small lamps in the river after the ritual with the belief
that the offerings will reach almighty who will then grant them their
wishes.
A three day session here will be very
fruitful for anyone desiring to learn simple and effective measures of
yoga. You can practice humming or gong meditation and try all styles of
Ayurvedic massages amidst an ambiance fused with chanting of vedic
mantras. Essentially a spiritual centre Rishikesh tour will surely help
you rejuvenate those jaded muscles and enhance your spiritual outlook.

Delhi you will be directed to the international airport to board the
