Elephant valley is the last settlement on the border of the National Forest which extends into wildlife sanctuaries of Kerala. It is uniquely situated on an elephant migration route that is centuries old.
This land and the rivers we share with local people blessed with prestigious vegetal and animal species including: native birds, leopards, deer, bison and elephants. Its remoteness allowed it to escape the ravages of 'modern' chemical agriculture.

The altitude at elephant valley ranges from 1200 to 1300 meters (M.S.L) providing a moderate climate with adequate and well distributed rainfall throughout the year.

Cottages
Elephant Valley have built the estate cottages according to commitment to reduce the impact on environment, with more soul than luxury. Each of them is equipped with solar lights, kerosene lanterns, western style dry/composting toilets and firewood fuelled for hot water showers.
These cottages have been tastefully created with local granite and reclaimed Burma teak. Colonial and art deco furniture from the collection are part of the interiors. During the winter nights you can warm up and get cosy with locally made wood stoves.
Each cottage has the privacy of its own garden overlooking the perennial Gangavaar River and the coffee plantation.
Tent houses with attached bathrooms are offering homely comfort in the midst of the wilderness.
For the adventurous guests, Elephant Valley have a uniquely located tree house on the border of the national forest, Elephant Valley can also put up tent houses on request.
The Restaurant is near the cottages and tents. The dining area offers a panoramic view of the farm and the hills.
Most of the vegetables are coming from the organic farm.
The menu gives a fusion between Indian & Continental cooking.... because Elephant Valley mainly use organic products for food preparation.
As Elephant Valley have a traditional earthen oven, bake whole wheat breads and fantastic pizzas....
The restaurant is mainly reserved for the guests. However with 24 hours notice Elephant Valley can arrange lunch/dinner for visitors. Elephant Valley can give accommodation up to 20 people.
