In the season of summer Raj Bhawan acts as the ultimate residence of the Governor of West Bengal. The beautiful lawns, lush green gardens, profound forest along with the snow trapped Kanchanjunga Range of Himalyas define the pristinely elegant backdrop of Raj Bhawan. Due to tight security, the tourists are not allowed to enter into the building, but the surroundings are this much scenic that the entire day can be spent in a lazy stroll.
