Fort of Kotkahlur

Raja Bir Chand is the name connected with the fort and it holds great importance from the perspective of history. The fort is a double-storied establishment. The actual shape of the fort is square. The walls are solid and thick and there is a beautiful temple made upon the roof having an unusual idol of Naina Devi. The fort was made with the purpose of protecting the city.
