Day-By-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Satna- Khajuraho
Arrive at Satna/Jhansi and proceed to Khajuraho where you will be accommodated in a hotel for your stay in the city.

Day 2: Khajuraho
Commence sightseeing tour of Khajuraho temples built by the Chandela Rajputs between the 10th and 11th centuries.

Day 3: Khajuraho- Orchha
Leave for Orchha, where you arrive at a hotel for overnight stay. Today in Orchha, visit 16th and 17th century temples.

Day 4: Orchha- Shivpuri
Drive to hotel in Shivpuri for overnight stay. At Shivpuri go for sightseeing and later visit the chhatris or cenotaphs. Enjoy visit to local Tourist Village and then return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Shivpuri- Gwalior
Leave for Gwalior. Enjoy a free evening to relax, followed by O/N stay at a hotel.

Day 6: Gwalior
Today, visit the splendid Gwalior Fort including several interesting palaces and temples such as Man Mandir, Teli Ka Mandir, Sas-Bahu Ka Mandir and Gujari Mahal etc. Later, visit the tombs of Tansen and Ghous Mohammed, the Jai Vilas Palace Museum and other sights. In the evening, the fort comes alive with the Son-et-Lumiere for your visual delight. O/N stay.

Day 7: Gwalior- Departure
Conclude the tour with a drive back at the railway station from where you will board your train back home.

Day 1: Satna- Khajuraho
Arrive at Satna/Jhansi where you will meet our representative awaiting your arrival. He will then escort you up to the fascinating city of Khajuraho.  The Kamsutra carvings that swathe exteriors of fabulous temples make the city an ideal holiday destination for lovers of ancient art and architecture. As you enter Khajuraho you will directed straight to the hotel which will be your base hotel for this Best of Khajuraho Tour.
 
Day 2: Khajuraho
Khajuraho is all about dramatic sculptures and ancient age temples and your city tour today will introduce you to some of the most fabulous temples in the world. Today’s sightseeing tour will take you on a ride to exquisite Khajuraho temples which were built by the Chandela Rajputs between the 10th and 11th centuries - a joyful ode to life depicted in exquisite carvings. The profundity and sculptural embellishment of the designs in temples of Eastern Group in Khajuraho is awe-inspiring. Also visit the Museum and the Western group of temples in the morning. A visit to Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho will include some of the most splendid and architecturally most opulent specimen of temple architecture in the country. 
 
Day 3: Khajuraho- Orchha
Commence another journey and reach Orchha where you will be accommodated in a hotel for overnight stay. Orchha is a medieval city where grandeur has truly been captured in the temples built by the Bundela Rajputs. At Orchha- the city of temples, palaces and chhatris visit the Tourist Village along with several palaces and temples built in the 16th and 17th centuries by rulers of Bundela clan.
 
Day 4: Orchha- Shivpuri
Today leave for Shivpuri which is set among low hills and rich forests. Here you will be accommodated in a scenic tourist village for overnight stay. Later, you visit other scenic spots and also the graceful Chhatris of former rulers and their consorts. Today in Shivpuri, take a round of the park, where the rulers hunted in the times gone by and later you visit the graceful chhatris or cenotaphs, which have withstood testimony of time and are gracious reminiscent of the mighty ruler and his queen. The architecture displays an elegant synthesis of the Mughal and Rajput style; the cenotaphs are set like jewels in formal gardens creating a fabulous display of ancient architecture. 
 
Day 5: Shivpuri- Gwalior
Leave for Gwalior next and enjoy a free evening to relax, followed by O/N stay at a hotel.
 
Day 6: Gwalior
Gwalior is the famous city of medieval hilltop fort.  As you arrive at this historic city you will be taken out for a sightseeing tour of the city where you will get to explore various stunning edifices, temples and forts. First on the sightseeing tour visit Gwalior Fort; built on an isolated rock in the 8th century, it is one of the biggest forts in the country.  Also visit other fabulous sites such as Man Mandir, Teli ka Mandir which is one of the loftiest temples. Also visit Tombs of Tansen and Ghous Mohammed, the Jai Vilas Palace Museum and the newly built Sun Temple in the city before you head back toward your hotel in the evening. In the evening, the fort comes alive with the Son-et-Lumiere for your visual delight.
 
Day 7: Gwalior- Departure
