Constructed by Akbar in AD 1583, the Allahabad Fort is a refined illustration of wonderful artistry, exquisite design, and awe inspiring architecture. The Ashoka Pillar, Saraswati Kup and Jodhabai Palace inside the fort are open to visitors.
